وَمَا كَانَ اللّٰهُ لِيُعَذِّبَهُمۡ وَاَنۡتَ فِيۡهِمۡ‌ؕ وَمَا كَانَ اللّٰهُ مُعَذِّبَهُمۡ وَهُمۡ يَسۡتَغۡفِرُوۡنَ‏ 

Word By Word —

وَمَا

wamā

But not

اور نہیں

كَانَ

kāna

is

ہے

اللّٰهُ

l-lahu

(for) Allah

اللہ

لِيُعَذِّبَهُمۡ

liyuʿadhibahum

that He punishes them

کہ عذاب دے ان کو

وَاَنۡتَ

wa-anta

while you

اور آپ

فِيۡهِمۡ​ؕ

fīhim

(are) among them,

ان میں (موجود ہیں)

وَمَا

wamā

and not

اور نہیں

كَانَ

kāna

is

ہے

اللّٰهُ

l-lahu

Allah

اللہ

مُعَذِّبَهُمۡ

muʿadhibahum

the One Who punishes them

عذاب دینے والا ان کو

وَهُمۡ

wahum

while they

اس حال میں کہ وہ

يَسۡتَغۡفِرُوۡنَ‏

yastaghfirūna

seek forgiveness

استغفار کرتے ہوں

Wama kana AllahuliyuAAaththibahum waanta feehim wama kanaAllahu muAAaththibahum wahum yastaghfiroon
