قُلۡ هُوَ اللّٰهُ اَحَدٌۚ
— Transliteration
Qul huwa Allahu ahad
قُلۡ

Say
کہہ دیجئے
هُوَ
huwa
`He
وہ
اللّٰهُ
l-lahu
(is) Allah
اللہ
اَحَدٌ ۚ
aḥadun
the One
ایک ہے
Urdu —
(اے نبئ مکرّم!) آپ فرما دیجئے: وہ اﷲ ہے جو یکتا ہےo
— English
Say, "He is Allah, [who is] One,
اللّٰهُ الصَّمَدُۚ
— Transliteration
Allahu assamad
اَللّٰهُ
al-lahu
Allah
اللہ
الصَّمَدُ ۚ
l-ṣamadu
the Eternal, the Absolute
بےنیاز ہے
Urdu —
اﷲ سب سے بے نیاز، سب کی پناہ اور سب پر فائق ہےo
— English
Allah, the Eternal Refuge.
لَمۡ يَلِدۡ ۙ وَلَمۡ يُوۡلَدۡۙ
— Transliteration
Lam yalid walam yoolad
لَمۡ
lam
Not
نہ
يَلِدۡ ۙ
yalid
He begets
اس نے جنا
وَلَمۡ
walam
and not
اور نہ
يُوۡلَدۡ ۙ
yūlad
He is betten
وہ جنا گیا
Urdu —
نہ اس سے کوئی پیدا ہوا ہے اور نہ ہی وہ پیدا کیا گیا ہےo
— English
He neither begets nor is born,
وَلَمۡ يَكُنۡ لَّهٗ كُفُوًا اَحَدٌ
— Transliteration
Walam yakun lahu kufuwan ahad
وَلَمۡ
walam
And not
اور نہیں
يَكُنۡ
yakun
is
ہے
لَّهٗ
lahu
for Him
اس کے لئے
كُفُوًا
kufuwan
equivalent
برابر کا
اَحَدٌ
aḥadun
any [one]
کوئی ایک بھی
Urdu —
اور نہ ہی اس کا کوئی ہمسر ہےo
— English
Nor is there to Him any equivalent."
