— Transliteration
Waqasamahuma innee lakumalamina annasiheen

اور ان دونوں سے قَسم کھا کر کہا کہ بیشک میں تمہارے خیرخواہوں میں سے ہوں

And he swore [by Allah] to them, "Indeed, I am to you from among the sincere advisors."

فَاَرۡسَلۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمُ الطُّوۡفَانَ وَالۡجَـرَادَ وَالۡقُمَّلَ وَالضَّفَادِعَ وَالدَّمَ اٰيٰتٍ مُّفَصَّلٰتٍ فَاسۡتَكۡبَرُوۡا وَكَانُوۡا قَوۡمًا مُّجۡرِمِيۡنَ
— Transliteration
Faarsalna AAalayhimu attoofanawaljarada walqummala waddafadiAAawaddama ayatin mufassalatinfastakbaroo wakanoo qawman mujrimeen

پھر ہم نے ان پر طوفان، ٹڈیاں،گھن، مینڈک اور خون (کتنی ہی) جداگانہ نشانیاں (بطورِ عذاب) بھیجیں، پھر (بھی) انہوں نے تکبر و سرکشی اختیار کئے رکھی اور وہ (نہایت) مجرم قوم تھے

So We sent upon them the flood and locusts and lice and frogs and blood as distinct signs, but they were arrogant and were a criminal people.
وَلَـمَّا وَقَعَ عَلَيۡهِمُ الرِّجۡزُ قَالُوۡا يٰمُوۡسَى ادۡعُ لَـنَا رَبَّكَ بِمَا عَهِدَ عِنۡدَكَۚ لَٮِٕنۡ كَشَفۡتَ عَنَّا الرِّجۡزَ لَـنُؤۡمِنَنَّ لَكَ وَلَـنُرۡسِلَنَّ مَعَكَ بَنِىۡۤ اِسۡرآءِيۡلَۚ
— Transliteration
Walamma waqaAAa AAalayhimu arrijzuqaloo ya moosa odAAu lana rabbaka bimaAAahida AAindaka la-in kashafta AAanna arrijzalanu/minanna laka walanursilanna maAAaka banee isra-eel

اور جب ان پر (کوئی) عذاب واقع ہوتا تو کہتے: اے موسٰی! آپ ہمارے لئے اپنے رب سے دعا کریں اس عہد کے وسیلہ سے جو (اس کا) آپ کے پاس ہے، اگر آپ ہم سے اس عذاب کو ٹال دیں تو ہم ضرور آپ پر ایمان لے آئیں گے اور بنی اسرائیل کو (بھی آزاد کر کے) آپ کے ساتھ بھیج دیں گے

And when the punishment descended upon them, they said, "O Moses, invoke for us your Lord by what He has promised you. If you [can] remove the punishment from us, we will surely believe you, and we will send with you the Children of Israel."

فَتَوَلّٰى عَنۡهُمۡ وَقَالَ يٰقَوۡمِ لَقَدۡ اَبۡلَغۡتُكُمۡ رِسَالَةَ رَبِّىۡ وَنَصَحۡتُ لَـكُمۡ وَلٰـكِنۡ لَّا تُحِبُّوۡنَ النّٰصِحِيۡنَ
— Transliteration
Fatawalla AAanhum waqala yaqawmi laqad ablaghtukum risalata rabbee wanasahtulakum walakin la tuhibboona annasiheen

پھر (صالح علیہ السلام نے) ان سے منہ پھیر لیا اور کہا: اے میری قوم! بیشک میں نے تمہیں اپنے رب کا پیغام پہنچا دیا تھا اور نصیحت (بھی) کر دی تھی لیکن تم نصیحت کرنے والوں کو پسند (ہی) نہیں کرتے

And he turned away from them and said, "O my people, I had certainly conveyed to you the message of my Lord and advised you, but you do not like advisors."

— Transliteration
Fatawalla AAanhum waqala yaqawmi laqad ablaghtukum risalati rabbee wanasahtulakum fakayfa asa AAala qawmin kafireen

تب (شعیب علیہ السلام) ان سے کنارہ کش ہوگئے اور کہنے لگے: اے میری قوم! بیشک میں نے تمہیں اپنے رب کے پیغامات پہنچا دیئے تھے اور میں نے تمہیں نصیحت (بھی) کردی تھی پھر میں کافر قوم (کے تباہ ہونے) پر افسوس کیونکر کروں

And he turned away from them and said, "O my people, I had certainly conveyed to you the messages of my Lord and advised you, so how could I grieve for a disbelieving people?"

Wala yanfaAAukum nushee inaradtu an ansaha lakum in kana Allahuyureedu an yughwiyakum huwa rabbukum wa-ilayhi turjaAAoon

اور میری نصیحت (بھی) تمہیں نفع نہ دے گی خواہ میں تمہیں نصیحت کرنے کا ارادہ کروں اگر اﷲ نے تمہیں گمراہ کرنے کا ارادہ فرما لیا ہو، وہ تمہارا رب ہے اور تم اسی کی طرف لوٹائے جاؤ گے

And my advice will not benefit you - although I wished to advise you - If Allah should intend to put you in error. He is your Lord, and to Him you will be returned."

وَجَآءَ رَجُلٌ مِّنۡ اَقۡصَا الۡمَدِيۡنَةِ يَسۡعٰى قَالَ يٰمُوۡسٰٓى اِنَّ الۡمَلَاَ يَاۡتَمِرُوۡنَ بِكَ لِيَـقۡتُلُوۡكَ فَاخۡرُجۡ اِنِّىۡ لَـكَ مِنَ النّٰصِحِيۡنَ
— Transliteration
Wajaa rajulun min aqsaalmadeenati yasAAa qala ya moosa innaalmalaa ya/tamiroona bika liyaqtulooka fakhruj innee lakamina annasiheen

اور شہر کے آخری کنارے سے ایک شخص دوڑتا ہوا آیا اس نے کہا: اے موسٰی! (قومِ فرعون کے) سردار آپ کے بارے میں مشورہ کر رہے ہیں کہ وہ آپ کو قتل کردیں سو آپ (یہاں سے) نکل جائیں بیشک میں آپ کے خیر خواہوں میں سے ہوں

And a man came from the farthest end of the city, running. He said, "O Moses, indeed the eminent ones are conferring over you [intending] to kill you, so leave [the city]; indeed, I am to you of the sincere advisors."
