لَّـيۡسَ عَلَى الۡاَعۡمٰى حَرَجٌ وَّلَا عَلَى الۡاَعۡرَجِ حَرَجٌ وَّلَا عَلَى الۡمَرِيۡضِ حَرَجٌ وَّلَا عَلٰٓى اَنۡفُسِكُمۡ اَنۡ تَاۡكُلُوۡا مِنۡۢ بُيُوۡتِكُمۡ اَوۡ بُيُوۡتِ اٰبَآٮِٕكُمۡ اَوۡ بُيُوۡتِ اُمَّهٰتِكُمۡ اَوۡ بُيُوۡتِ اِخۡوَانِكُمۡ اَوۡ بُيُوۡتِ اَخَوٰتِكُمۡ اَوۡ بُيُوۡتِ اَعۡمَامِكُمۡ اَوۡ بُيُوۡتِ عَمّٰتِكُمۡ اَوۡ بُيُوۡتِ اَخۡوَالِكُمۡ اَوۡ بُيُوۡتِ خٰلٰتِكُمۡ اَوۡ مَا مَلَكۡتُمۡ مَّفَاتِحَهٗۤ اَوۡ صَدِيۡقِكُمۡؕ لَـيۡسَ عَلَيۡكُمۡ جُنَاحٌ اَنۡ تَاۡكُلُوۡا جَمِيۡعًا اَوۡ اَشۡتَاتًا ؕ فَاِذَا دَخَلۡتُمۡ بُيُوۡتًا فَسَلِّمُوۡا عَلٰٓى اَنۡفُسِكُمۡ تَحِيَّةً مِّنۡ عِنۡدِ اللّٰهِ مُبٰرَكَةً طَيِّبَةً ؕ كَذٰلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ اللّٰهُ لَـكُمُ الۡاٰيٰتِ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَعۡقِلُوۡنَ
— Transliteration
Laysa AAala al-aAAma harajunwala AAala al-aAAraji harajun walaAAala almareedi harajun wala AAalaanfusikum an ta/kuloo min buyootikum aw buyooti aba-ikumaw buyooti ommahatikum aw buyooti ikhwanikum awbuyooti akhawatikum aw buyooti aAAmamikum awbuyooti AAammatikum aw buyooti akhwalikum awbuyooti khalatikum aw ma malaktum mafatihahuaw sadeeqikum laysa AAalaykum junahun an ta/kuloojameeAAan aw ashtatan fa-itha dakhaltum buyootanfasallimoo AAala anfusikum tahiyyatan min AAindiAllahi mubarakatan tayyibatan kathalikayubayyinu Allahu lakumu al-ayati laAAallakumtaAAqiloon

اندھے پر کوئی رکاوٹ نہیں اور نہ لنگڑے پر کوئی حرج ہے اور نہ بیمار پر کوئی گناہ ہے اور نہ خود تمہارے لئے (کوئی مضائقہ ہے) کہ تم اپنے گھروں سے (کھانا) کھا لو یا اپنے باپ دادا کے گھروں سے یا اپنی ماؤں کے گھروں سے یا اپنے بھائیوں کے گھروں سے یا اپنی بہنوں کے گھروں سے یا اپنے چچاؤں کے گھروں سے یا اپنی پھوپھیوں کے گھروں سے یا اپنے ماموؤں کے گھروں سے یا اپنی خالاؤں کے گھروں سے یا جن گھروں کی کنجیاں تمہارے اختیار میں ہیں (یعنی جن میں ان کے مالکوں کی طرف سے تمہیں ہر قسم کے تصرّف کی اجازت ہے) یا اپنے دوستوں کے گھروں سے (کھانا کھا لینے میں مضائقہ نہیں)، تم پر اس بات میں کوئی گناہ نہیں کہ تم سب کے سب مل کر کھاؤ یا الگ الگ، پھر جب تم گھروں میں داخل ہوا کرو تو اپنے (گھر والوں) پر سلام کہا کرو (یہ) اللہ کی طرف سے بابرکت پاکیزہ دعا ہے، اس طرح اللہ اپنی آیتوں کو تمہارے لئے واضح فرماتا ہے تاکہ تم (احکامِ شریعت اور آدابِ زندگی کو) سمجھ سکو

There is not upon the blind [any] constraint nor upon the lame constraint nor upon the ill constraint nor upon yourselves when you eat from your [own] houses or the houses of your fathers or the houses of your mothers or the houses of your brothers or the houses of your sisters or the houses of your father's brothers or the houses of your father's sisters or the houses of your mother's brothers or the houses of your mother's sisters or [from houses] whose keys you possess or [from the house] of your friend. There is no blame upon you whether you eat together or separately. But when you enter houses, give greetings of peace upon each other - a greeting from Allah, blessed and good. Thus does Allah make clear to you the verses [of ordinance] that you may understand.

يٰۤاَيُّهَا النَّبِىُّ اِنَّاۤ اَحۡلَلۡنَا لَـكَ اَزۡوَاجَكَ الّٰتِىۡۤ اٰتَيۡتَ اُجُوۡرَهُنَّ وَمَا مَلَـكَتۡ يَمِيۡنُكَ مِمَّاۤ اَفَآءَ اللّٰهُ عَلَيۡكَ وَبَنٰتِ عَمِّكَ وَبَنٰتِ عَمّٰتِكَ وَبَنٰتِ خَالِكَ وَبَنٰتِ خٰلٰتِكَ الّٰتِىۡ هَاجَرۡنَ مَعَكَ وَامۡرَاَةً مُّؤۡمِنَةً اِنۡ وَّهَبَتۡ نَفۡسَهَا لِلنَّبِىِّ اِنۡ اَرَادَ النَّبِىُّ اَنۡ يَّسۡتَـنۡكِحَهَا خَالِصَةً لَّـكَ مِنۡ دُوۡنِ الۡمُؤۡمِنِيۡنَ ؕ قَدۡ عَلِمۡنَا مَا فَرَضۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ فِىۡۤ اَزۡوَاجِهِمۡ وَمَا مَلَـكَتۡ اَيۡمَانُهُمۡ لِكَيۡلَا يَكُوۡنَ عَلَيۡكَ حَرَجٌ ؕ وَكَانَ اللّٰهُ غَفُوۡرًا رَّحِيۡمًا
— Transliteration
Ya ayyuha annabiyyuinna ahlalna laka azwajaka allateeatayta ojoorahunna wama malakat yameenuka mimmaafaa Allahu AAalayka wabanati AAammika wabanatiAAammatika wabanati khalika wabanatikhalatika allatee hajarna maAAaka wamraatanmu/minatan in wahabat nafsaha linnabiyyi in aradaannabiyyu an yastankihaha khalisatanlaka min dooni almu/mineena qad AAalimna ma faradnaAAalayhim fee azwajihim wama malakat aymanuhumlikayla yakoona AAalayka harajun wakana Allahughafooran raheema

اے نبی! بیشک ہم نے آپ کے لئے آپ کی وہ بیویاں حلال فرما دی ہیں جن کا مہَر آپ نے ادا فرما دیا ہے اور جو (احکامِ الٰہی کے مطابق) آپ کی مملوک ہیں، جو اللہ نے آپ کو مالِ غنیمت میں عطا فرمائی ہیں، اور آپ کے چچا کی بیٹیاں، اور آپ کی پھوپھیوں کی بیٹیاں، اور آپ کے ماموں کی بیٹیاں، اور آپ کی خالاؤں کی بیٹیاں، جنہوں نے آپ کے ساتھ ہجرت کی ہے اور کوئی بھی مؤمنہ عورت بشرطیکہ وہ اپنے آپ کو نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے نکاح) کے لئے دے دے اور نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم بھی) اسے اپنے نکاح میں لینے کا ارادہ فرمائیں (تو یہ سب آپ کے لئے حلال ہیں)، (یہ حکم) صرف آپ کے لئے خاص ہے (امّت کے) مومنوں کے لئے نہیں، واقعی ہمیں معلوم ہے جو کچھ ہم نے اُن (مسلمانوں) پر اُن کی بیویوں اور ان کی مملوکہ باندیوں کے بارے میں فرض کیا ہے، (مگر آپ کے حق میں تعدّدِ ازواج کی حِلّت کا خصوصی حکم اِس لئے ہے) تاکہ آپ پر (امتّ میں تعلیم و تربیتِ نسواں کے وسیع انتظام میں) کوئی تنگی نہ رہے، اور اللہ بڑا بخشنے والا بڑا رحم فرمانے والا ہے

O Prophet, indeed We have made lawful to you your wives to whom you have given their due compensation and those your right hand possesses from what Allah has returned to you [of captives] and the daughters of your paternal uncles and the daughters of your paternal aunts and the daughters of your maternal uncles and the daughters of your maternal aunts who emigrated with you and a believing woman if she gives herself to the Prophet [and] if the Prophet wishes to marry her, [this is] only for you, excluding the [other] believers. We certainly know what We have made obligatory upon them concerning their wives and those their right hands possess, [but this is for you] in order that there will be upon you no discomfort. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful.
