وَهُوَ الَّذِىۡ خَلَقَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضَ فِىۡ سِتَّةِ اَيَّامٍ وَّكَانَ عَرۡشُهٗ عَلَى الۡمَآءِ لِيَبۡلُوَكُمۡ اَيُّكُمۡ اَحۡسَنُ عَمَلاً ؕ وَلَٮِٕنۡ قُلۡتَ اِنَّكُمۡ مَّبۡعُوۡثُوۡنَ مِنۡۢ بَعۡدِ الۡمَوۡتِ لَيَـقُوۡلَنَّ الَّذِيۡنَ كَفَرُوۡۤا اِنۡ هٰذَاۤ اِلَّا سِحۡرٌ مُّبِيۡنٌ
— Transliteration
Wahuwa allathee khalaqa assamawatiwal-arda fee sittati ayyamin wakanaAAarshuhu AAala alma-i liyabluwakum ayyukum ahsanuAAamalan wala-in qulta innakum mabAAoothoona min baAAdi almawtilayaqoolanna allatheena kafaroo in hatha illasihrun mubeen

اور وہی (اﷲ) ہے جس نے آسمانوں اور زمین (کی بالائی و زیریں کائناتوں) کو چھ روز (یعنی تخلیق و اِرتقاء کے چھ اَدوار و مراحل) میں پیدا فرمایا اور (تخلیقِ اَرضی سے قبل) اس کا تختِ اقتدار پانی پر تھا (اور اس نے اس سے زندگی کے تمام آثار کو اور تمہیں پیدا کیا) تاکہ وہ تمہیں آزمائے کہ تم میں سے کون عمل کے اعتبار سے بہتر ہے؟ اور اگر آپ یہ فرمائیں کہ تم لوگ مرنے کے بعد (زندہ کر کے) اٹھائے جاؤ گے تو کافر یقینًا (یہ) کہیں گے کہ یہ تو صریح جادو کے سوا کچھ (اور) نہیں ہے

And it is He who created the heavens and the earth in six days - and His Throne had been upon water - that He might test you as to which of you is best in deed. But if you say, "Indeed, you are resurrected after death," those who disbelieve will surely say, "This is not but obvious magic."

Awa lam yara allatheenakafaroo anna assamawati wal-ardakanata ratqan fafataqnahuma wajaAAalnamina alma-i kulla shay-in hayyin afalayu/minoon

Have those who disbelieved not considered that the heavens and the earth were a joined entity, and We separated them and made from water every living thing? Then will they not believe?

— Transliteration
Wallahu khalaqa kulla dabbatinmin ma-in faminhum man yamshee AAala batnihiwaminhum man yamshee AAala rijlayni waminhum man yamsheeAAala arbaAAin yakhluqu Allahu ma yashaoinna Allaha AAala kulli shay-in qadeer

اور اللہ نے ہر چلنے پھرنے والے (جاندار) کی پیدائش (کی کیمیائی ابتداء) پانی سے فرمائی، پھر ان میں سے بعض وہ ہوئے جو اپنے پیٹ کے بل چلتے ہیں اور ان میں سے بعض وہ ہوئے جو دو پاؤں پر چلتے ہیں، اور ان میں سے بعض وہ ہوئے جو چار (پیروں) پر چلتے ہیں، اللہ جو چاہتا ہے پیدا فرماتا رہتا ہے، بیشک اللہ ہر چیز پر بڑا قادر ہے

Allah has created every [living] creature from water. And of them are those that move on their bellies, and of them are those that walk on two legs, and of them are those that walk on four. Allah creates what He wills. Indeed, Allah is over all things competent.

And it is He who has created from water a human being and made him [a relative by] lineage and marriage. And ever is your Lord competent [concerning creation].
