وَهُوَ الَّذِىۡ مَدَّ الۡاَرۡضَ وَجَعَلَ فِيۡهَا رَوَاسِىَ وَاَنۡهٰرًاؕ وَمِنۡ كُلِّ الثَّمَرٰتِ جَعَلَ فِيۡهَا زَوۡجَيۡنِ اثۡنَيۡنِ يُغۡشِىۡ الَّيۡلَ النَّهَارَؕ اِنَّ فِىۡ ذٰلِكَ لَاَيٰتٍ لِّـقَوۡمٍ يَّتَفَكَّرُوۡنَ
— Transliteration
Wahuwa allathee madda al-ardawajaAAala feeha rawasiya waanharan waminkulli aththamarati jaAAala feeha zawjayniithnayni yughshee allayla annahara inna fee thalikalaayatin liqawmin yatafakkaroon

اور وہی ہے جس نے (گولائی کے باوجود) زمین کو پھیلایا اور اس میں پہاڑ اور دریا بنائے، اور ہر قسم کے پھلوں میں (بھی) اس نے دو دو (جنسوں کے) جوڑے بنائے (وہی) رات سے دن کو ڈھانک لیتا ہے، بیشک اس میں تفکر کرنے والوں کے لئے (بہت) نشانیاں ہیں

And it is He who spread the earth and placed therein firmly set mountains and rivers; and from all of the fruits He made therein two mates; He causes the night to cover the day. Indeed in that are signs for a people who give thought.

وَفِىۡ الۡاَرۡضِ قِطَعٌ مُّتَجٰوِرٰتٌ وَّجَنّٰتٌ مِّنۡ اَعۡنَابٍ وَّزَرۡعٌ وَّنَخِيۡلٌ صِنۡوَانٌ وَّغَيۡرُ صِنۡوَانٍ يُّسۡقٰى بِمَآءٍ وَّاحِدٍ وَنُفَضِّلُ بَعۡضَهَا عَلٰى بَعۡضٍ فِىۡ الۡاُكُلِؕ اِنَّ فِىۡ ذٰلِكَ لَاَيٰتٍ لِّـقَوۡمٍ يَّعۡقِلُوۡنَ
— Transliteration
Wafee al-ardi qitaAAun mutajawiratunwajannatun min aAAnabin wazarAAun wanakheelun sinwanunwaghayru sinwanin yusqa bima-in wahidinwanufaddilu baAAdaha AAala baAAdinfee alokuli inna fee thalika laayatinliqawmin yaAAqiloon

اور زمین میں (مختلف قسم کے) قطعات ہیں جو ایک دوسرے کے قریب ہیں اور انگوروں کے باغات ہیں اور کھیتیاں ہیں اور کھجور کے درخت ہیں، جھنڈدار اور بغیر جھنڈ کے، ان (سب) کو ایک ہی پانی سے سیراب کیا جاتا ہے، اور (اس کے باوجود) ہم ذائقہ میں بعض کو بعض پر فضیلت بخشتے ہیں، بیشک اس میں عقل مندوں کے لئے (بڑی) نشانیاں ہیں

And within the land are neighboring plots and gardens of grapevines and crops and palm trees, [growing] several from a root or otherwise, watered with one water; but We make some of them exceed others in [quality of] fruit. Indeed in that are signs for a people who reason.

اَلَمۡ تَرَ اَنَّ اللّٰهَ اَنۡزَلَ مِنَ السَّمَآءِ مَآءً فَسَلَـكَهٗ يَنَابِيۡعَ فِىۡ الۡاَرۡضِ ثُمَّ يُخۡرِجُ بِهٖ زَرۡعًا مُّخۡتَلِفًا اَلۡوَانُهٗ ثُمَّ يَهِيۡجُ فَتَرٰٮهُ مُصۡفَرًّا ثُمَّ يَجۡعَلُهٗ حُطَامًاؕ اِنَّ فِىۡ ذٰلِكَ لَذِكۡرٰى لِاُولِىۡ الۡاَلۡبَابِ
— Transliteration
Alam tara anna Allaha anzala mina assama-imaan fasalakahu yanabeeAAa fee al-ardithumma yukhriju bihi zarAAan mukhtalifan alwanuhu thummayaheeju fatarahu musfarran thumma yajAAaluhu hutamaninna fee thalika lathikra li-olee al-albab

(اے انسان!) کیا تو نے نہیں دیکھا کہ اللہ نے آسمان سے پانی برسایا، پھر زمین میں اس کے چشمے رواں کیے، پھر اس کے ذریعے کھیتی پیدا کرتا ہے جس کے رنگ جداگانہ ہوتے ہیں، پھر وہ (تیار ہوکر) خشک ہو جاتی ہے، پھر (پکنے کے بعد) تو اسے زرد دیکھتا ہے، پھر وہ اسے چورا چورا کر دیتا ہے، بے شک اس میں عقل والوں کے لئے نصیحت ہے

Do you not see that Allah sends down rain from the sky and makes it flow as springs [and rivers] in the earth; then He produces thereby crops of varying colors; then they dry and you see them turned yellow; then He makes them [scattered] debris. Indeed in that is a reminder for those of understanding.
