اِلَّا تَـنۡصُرُوۡهُ فَقَدۡ نَصَرَهُ اللّٰهُ اِذۡ اَخۡرَجَهُ الَّذِيۡنَ كَفَرُوۡا ثَانِىَ اثۡنَيۡنِ اِذۡ هُمَا فِىۡ الۡغَارِ اِذۡ يَقُوۡلُ لِصَاحِبِهٖ لَا تَحۡزَنۡ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ مَعَنَاۚ فَاَنۡزَلَ اللّٰهُ سَكِيۡنَـتَهٗ عَلَيۡهِ وَاَيَّدَهٗ بِجُنُوۡدٍ لَّمۡ تَرَوۡهَا وَجَعَلَ كَلِمَةَ الَّذِيۡنَ كَفَرُوا السُّفۡلٰى ؕ وَكَلِمَةُ اللّٰهِ هِىَ الۡعُلۡيَاؕ وَاللّٰهُ عَزِيۡزٌ حَكِيۡمٌ
— Transliteration
Illa tansuroohu faqad nasarahuAllahu ith akhrajahu allatheena kafaroo thaniyaithnayni ith huma fee alghari ithyaqoolu lisahibihi la tahzan inna AllahamaAAana faanzala Allahu sakeenatahu AAalayhiwaayyadahu bijunoodin lam tarawha wajaAAala kalimata allatheenakafaroo assufla wakalimatu Allahi hiyaalAAulya wallahu AAazeezun hakeem

اگر تم ان کی (یعنی رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی غلبۂ اسلام کی جد و جہد میں) مدد نہ کرو گے (تو کیا ہوا) سو بیشک اللہ نے ان کو (اس وقت بھی) مدد سے نوازا تھا جب کافروں نے انہیں (وطنِ مکہ سے) نکال دیا تھا درآنحالیکہ وہ دو (ہجرت کرنے والوں) میں سے دوسرے تھے جبکہ دونوں (رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم اور ابوبکر صدیق رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ) غارِ (ثور) میں تھے جب وہ اپنے ساتھی (ابوبکر صدیق رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ) سے فرما رہے تھے: غمزدہ نہ ہو بیشک اللہ ہمارے ساتھ ہے، پس اللہ نے ان پر اپنی تسکین نازل فرما دی اور انہیں (فرشتوں کے) ایسے لشکروں کے ذریعہ قوت بخشی جنہیں تم نہ دیکھ سکے اور اس نے کافروں کی بات کو پست و فروتر کر دیا، اور اللہ کا فرمان تو (ہمیشہ) بلند و بالا ہی ہے، اور اللہ غالب، حکمت والا ہے

If you do not aid the Prophet - Allah has already aided him when those who disbelieved had driven him out [of Makkah] as one of two, when they were in the cave and he said to his companion, "Do not grieve; indeed Allah is with us." And Allah sent down his tranquillity upon him and supported him with angels you did not see and made the word of those who disbelieved the lowest, while the word of Allah - that is the highest. And Allah is Exalted in Might and Wise.

— Transliteration
Law yajidoona maljaan aw magharatinaw muddakhalan lawallaw ilayhi wahum yajmahoon

(ان کی کیفیت یہ ہے کہ) اگر وہ کوئی پناہ گاہ یا غار یا سرنگ پا لیں تو انتہائی تیزی سے بھاگتے ہوئے اس کی طرف پلٹ جائیں (اور آپ کے ساتھ ایک لمحہ بھی نہ رہیں مگر اس وقت وہ مجبور ہیں اس لئے جھوٹی وفاداری جتلاتے ہیں)

If they could find a refuge or some caves or any place to enter [and hide], they would turn to it while they run heedlessly.

وَكَذٰلِكَ بَعَثۡنٰهُمۡ لِيَتَسَآءَلُوۡا بَيۡنَهُمۡؕ قَالَ قَآٮِٕلٌ مِّنۡهُمۡ كَمۡ لَبِثۡتُمۡؕ قَالُوۡا لَبِثۡنَا يَوۡمًا اَوۡ بَعۡضَ يَوۡمٍؕ قَالُوۡا رَبُّكُمۡ اَعۡلَمُ بِمَا لَبِثۡتُمۡؕ فَابۡعَثُوۡۤا اَحَدَكُمۡ بِوَرِقِكُمۡ هٰذِهٖۤ اِلَى الۡمَدِيۡنَةِ فَلۡيَنۡظُرۡ اَيُّهَاۤ اَزۡكٰى طَعَامًا فَلۡيَاۡتِكُمۡ بِرِزۡقٍ مِّنۡهُ وَلۡيَتَلَطَّفۡ وَلَا يُشۡعِرَنَّ بِكُمۡ اَحَدًا
— Transliteration
Wakathalika baAAathnahumliyatasaaloo baynahum qala qa-ilun minhumkam labithtum qaloo labithna yawman aw baAAdayawmin qaloo rabbukum aAAlamu bima labithtum fabAAathooahadakum biwariqikum hathihi ila almadeenatifalyanthur ayyuha azka taAAamanfalya/tikum birizqin minhu walyatalattaf walayushAAiranna bikum ahada

اور اسی طرح ہم نے انہیں اٹھا دیا تاکہ وہ آپس میں دریافت کریں، (چنانچہ) ان میں سے ایک کہنے والے نے کہا: تم (یہاں) کتنا عرصہ ٹھہرے ہو؟ انہوں نے کہا: ہم (یہاں) ایک دن یا اس کا (بھی) کچھ حصہ ٹھہرے ہیں، (بالآخر) کہنے لگے: تمہارا رب ہی بہتر جانتا ہے کہ تم (یہاں) کتنا عرصہ ٹھہرے ہو، سو تم اپنے میں سے کسی ایک کو اپنا یہ سکہ دے کر شہر کی طرف بھیجو پھر وہ دیکھے کہ کون سا کھانا زیادہ حلال اور پاکیزہ ہے تو اس میں سے کچھ کھانا تمہارے پاس لے آئے اور اسے چاہئے کہ (آنے جانے اور خریدنے میں) آہستگی اور نرمی سے کام لے اور کسی ایک شخص کو (بھی) تمہاری خبر نہ ہونے دے

And similarly, We awakened them that they might question one another. Said a speaker from among them, "How long have you remained [here]?" They said, "We have remained a day or part of a day." They said, "Your Lord is most knowing of how long you remained. So send one of you with this silver coin of yours to the city and let him look to which is the best of food and bring you provision from it and let him be cautious. And let no one be aware of you.
اِنَّهُمۡ اِنۡ يَّظۡهَرُوۡا عَلَيۡكُمۡ يَرۡجُمُوۡكُمۡ اَوۡ يُعِيۡدُوۡكُمۡ فِىۡ مِلَّتِهِمۡ وَلَنۡ تُفۡلِحُوۡۤا اِذًا اَبَدًا
— Transliteration
Innahum in yathharoo AAalaykumyarjumookum aw yuAAeedookum fee millatihim walan tuflihooithan abada

بیشک اگر انہوں نے تم (سے آگاہ ہو کر تم) پر دسترس پالی تو تمہیں سنگسار کر ڈالیں گے یا تمہیں (جبرًا) اپنے مذہب میں پلٹا لیں گے اور (اگر ایسا ہو گیا تو) تب تم ہرگز کبھی بھی فلاح نہیں پاؤ گے

Indeed, if they come to know of you, they will stone you or return you to their religion. And never would you succeed, then - ever."

Ola-ika lahum jannatu AAadnintajree min tahtihimu al-anharu yuhallawnafeeha min asawira min thahabin waylbasoonathiyaban khudran min sundusin wa-istabraqinmuttaki-eena feeha AAala al-ara-iki niAAma aththawabuwahasunat murtafaqa

ان لوگوں کے لئے ہمیشہ (آباد) رہنے والے باغات ہیں (جن میں) ان (کے محلات) کے نیچے نہریں جاری ہیں انہیں ان جنتوں میں سونے کے کنگن پہنائے جائیں گے اور وہ باریک دیبا اور بھاری اطلس کے (ریشمی) سبز لباس پہنیں گے اور پر تکلف تختوں پر تکئے لگائے بیٹھے ہوں گے، کیا خوب ثواب ہے اور کتنی حسین آرام گاہ ہے

Those will have gardens of perpetual residence; beneath them rivers will flow. They will be adorned therein with bracelets of gold and will wear green garments of fine silk and brocade, reclining therein on adorned couches. Excellent is the reward, and good is the resting place.
وَاضۡرِبۡ لَهُمۡ مَّثَلاً رَّجُلَيۡنِ جَعَلۡنَا لِاَحَدِهِمَا جَنَّتَيۡنِ مِنۡ اَعۡنَابٍ وَّحَفَفۡنٰهُمَا بِنَخۡلٍ وَّجَعَلۡنَا بَيۡنَهُمَا زَرۡعًاؕ
— Transliteration
Wadrib lahum mathalanrajulayni jaAAalna li-ahadihima jannataynimin aAAnabin wahafafnahuma binakhlinwajaAAalna baynahuma zarAAa

اور آپ ان سے ان دو شخصوں کی مثال بیان کریں جن میں سے ایک کے لئے ہم نے انگور کے دو باغات بنائے اور ہم نے ان دونوں کو تمام اَطراف سے کھجور کے درختوں کے ساتھ ڈھانپ دیا اور ہم نے ان کے درمیان (سرسبز و شاداب) کھیتیاں اگا دیں

And present to them an example of two men: We granted to one of them two gardens of grapevines, and We bordered them with palm trees and placed between them [fields of] crops.

And they remained in their cave for three hundred years and exceeded by nine.
