فَاِنۡ طَلَّقَهَا فَلَا تَحِلُّ لَهٗ مِنۡۢ بَعۡدُ حَتّٰى تَنۡكِحَ زَوۡجًا غَيۡرَهٗؕ فَاِنۡ طَلَّقَهَا فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيۡهِمَآ اَنۡ يَّتَرَاجَعَآ اِنۡ ظَنَّآ اَنۡ يُّقِيۡمَا حُدُوۡدَ اللّٰهِؕ وَتِلۡكَ حُدُوۡدُ اللّٰهِ يُبَيِّنُهَا لِقَوۡمٍ يَّعۡلَمُوۡنَ
— Transliteration
Fa-in tallaqaha falatahillu lahu min baAAdu hatta tankihazawjan ghayrahu fa-in tallaqaha fala junahaAAalayhima an yatarajaAAa in thannaan yuqeema hudooda Allahi watilka hudooduAllahi yubayyinuha liqawmin yaAAlamoon

پھر اگر اس نے (تیسری مرتبہ) طلاق دے دی تو اس کے بعد وہ اس کے لئے حلال نہ ہوگی یہاں تک کہ وہ کسی اور شوہر کے ساتھ نکاح کر لے، پھر اگر وہ (دوسرا شوہر) بھی طلاق دے دے تو اب ان دونوں (یعنی پہلے شوہر اور اس عورت) پر کوئی گناہ نہ ہوگا اگر وہ (دوبارہ رشتۂ زوجیت میں) پلٹ جائیں بشرطیکہ دونوں یہ خیال کریں کہ (اب) وہ حدودِ الٰہی قائم رکھ سکیں گے، یہ اﷲ کی (مقرر کردہ) حدود ہیں جنہیں وہ علم والوں کے لئے بیان فرماتا ہے

And if he has divorced her [for the third time], then she is not lawful to him afterward until [after] she marries a husband other than him. And if the latter husband divorces her [or dies], there is no blame upon the woman and her former husband for returning to each other if they think that they can keep [within] the limits of Allah. These are the limits of Allah, which He makes clear to a people who know.

— Transliteration
Wama lakum alla ta/kuloo mimmathukira ismu Allahi AAalayhi waqad fassalalakum ma harrama AAalaykum illa ma idturirtumilayhi wa-inna katheeran layudilloona bi-ahwa-ihimbighayri AAilmin inna rabbaka huwa aAAlamu bilmuAAtadeen

اور تمہیں کیا ہے کہ تم اس (ذبیحہ) سے نہیں کھاتے جس پر (ذبح کے وقت) اﷲ کا نام لیا گیا ہے (تم ان حلال جانوروں کو بلاوجہ حرام ٹھہراتے ہو)؟ حالانکہ اس نے تمہارے لئے ان (تمام) چیزوں کو تفصیلاً بیان کر دیا ہے جو اس نے تم پر حرام کی ہیں، سوائے اس (صورت) کے کہ تم (محض جان بچانے کے لئے) ان (کے بقدرِ حاجت کھانے) کی طرف انتہائی مجبور ہو جاؤ (سو اب تم اپنی طرف سے اور چیزوں کو مزید حرام نہ ٹھہرایا کرو)۔ بیشک بہت سے لوگ بغیر (پختہ) علم کے اپنی خواہشات (اور من گھڑت تصورات) کے ذریعے (لوگوں کو) بہکاتے رہتے ہیں، اور یقینا آپ کا ربّ حد سے تجاوز کرنے والوں کو خوب جانتا ہے

And why should you not eat of that upon which the name of Allah has been mentioned while He has explained in detail to you what He has forbidden you, excepting that to which you are compelled. And indeed do many lead [others] astray through their [own] inclinations without knowledge. Indeed, your Lord - He is most knowing of the transgressors.

— Transliteration
Ith tastagheethoona rabbakum fastajabalakum annee mumiddukum bi-alfin mina almala-ikatimurdifeen

(وہ وقت یاد کرو) جب تم اپنے رب سے (مدد کے لئے) فریاد کر رہے تھے تو اس نے تمہاری فریاد قبول فرمالی (اور فرمایا) کہ میں ایک ہزار پے در پے آنے والے فرشتوں کے ذریعے تمہاری مدد کرنے والا ہوں

[Remember] when you asked help of your Lord, and He answered you, "Indeed, I will reinforce you with a thousand from the angels, following one another."
وَمَا جَعَلَهُ اللّٰهُ اِلَّا بُشۡرٰى وَلِتَطۡمَٮِٕنَّ بِهٖ قُلُوۡبُكُمۡۚ وَمَا النَّصۡرُ اِلَّا مِنۡ عِنۡدِ اللّٰهِؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ عَزِيۡزٌ حَكِيۡمٌ
— Transliteration
Wama jaAAalahu Allahu illabushra walitatma-inna bihi quloobukum wama annasruilla min AAindi Allahi inna Allaha AAazeezunhakeem

And Allah made it not but good tidings and so that your hearts would be assured thereby. And victory is not but from Allah. Indeed, Allah is Exalted in Might and Wise.

(مُردوں کا اٹھایا جانا اس لئے ہے) تاکہ ان کے لئے وہ (حق) بات واضح کر دے جس میں وہ لوگ اختلاف کرتے ہیں اور یہ کہ کافر لوگ جان لیں کہ حقیقت میں وہی جھوٹے ہیں

[It is] so He will make clear to them [the truth of] that wherein they differ and so those who have disbelieved may know that they were liars.

Wa-itha raa allatheena thalamooalAAathaba fala yukhaffafu AAanhum wala humyuntharoon

اور جب ظالم لوگ عذاب دیکھ لیں گے تو نہ ان سے (اس عذاب کی) تخفیف کی جائے گی اور نہ ہی انہیں مہلت دی جائے گی

And when those who wronged see the punishment, it will not be lightened for them, nor will they be reprieved.
وَاِذَا رَاَ الَّذِيۡنَ اَشۡرَكُوۡا شُرَكَآءَهُمۡ قَالُوۡا رَبَّنَا هٰٓؤُلَۤاءِ شُرَكَآؤُنَا الَّذِيۡنَ كُنَّا نَدۡعُوۡا مِنۡ دُوۡنِكَۚ فَاَلۡقَوۡا اِلَيۡهِمُ الۡقَوۡلَ اِنَّكُمۡ لَـكٰذِبُوۡنَۚ
— Transliteration
Wa-itha raa allatheenaashrakoo shurakaahum qaloo rabbana haola-ishurakaona allatheena kunna nadAAoomin doonika faalqaw ilayhimu alqawla innakum lakathiboon

اور جب مشرک لوگ اپنے (خود ساختہ) شریکوں کو دیکھیں گے تو کہیں گے: اے ہمارے رب! یہی ہمارے شریک تھے جن کی ہم تجھے چھوڑ کر پرستش کرتے تھے، پس وہ (شرکاء) انہیں (جواباً) پیغام بھیجیں گے کہ بیشک تم جھوٹے ہو

And when those who associated others with Allah see their "partners," they will say," Our Lord, these are our partners [to You] whom we used to invoke besides You." But they will throw at them the statement, "Indeed, you are liars."

Wama anzalna AAalayka alkitabailla litubayyina lahumu allathee ikhtalafoo feehiwahudan warahmatan liqawmin yu/minoon

اور ہم نے آپ کی طرف کتاب نہیں اتاری مگر اس لئے کہ آپ ان پر وہ (اُمور) واضح کر دیں جن میں وہ اختلاف کرتے ہیں اور (اس لئے کہ یہ کتاب) ہدایت اور رحمت ہے اس قوم کے لئے جو ایمان لے آئی ہے

And We have not revealed to you the Book, [O Muhammad], except for you to make clear to them that wherein they have differed and as guidance and mercy for a people who believe.

— Transliteration
Wala takoonoo kallatee naqadatghazlaha min baAAdi quwwatin ankathan tattakhithoonaaymanakum dakhalan baynakum an takoona ommatun hiya arbamin ommatin innama yablookumu Allahu bihiwalayubayyinanna lakum yawma alqiyamati ma kuntumfeehi takhtalifoon

اور اس عورت کی طرح نہ ہو جاؤ جس نے اپنا سوت مضبوط کات لینے کے بعد توڑ کر ٹکڑے ٹکڑے کر ڈالا، تم اپنی قَسموں کو اپنے درمیان فریب کاری کا ذریعہ بناتے ہو تاکہ (اس طرح) ایک گروہ دوسرے گروہ سے زیادہ فائدہ اٹھانے والا ہو جائے، بات یہ ہے کہ اللہ (بھی) تمہیں اسی کے ذریعہ آزماتا ہے، اور وہ تمہارے لئے قیامت کے دن ان باتوں کو ضرور واضح فرما دے گا جن میں تم اختلاف کیا کرتے تھے

And do not be like she who untwisted her spun thread after it was strong [by] taking your oaths as [means of] deceit between you because one community is more plentiful [in number or wealth] than another community. Allah only tries you thereby. And He will surely make clear to you on the Day of Resurrection that over which you used to differ.

Falamma qadaynaAAalayhi almawta ma dallahum AAala mawtihi illadabbatu al-ardi ta/kulu minsaatahu falammakharra tabayyanati aljinnu an law kanoo yaAAlamoonaalghayba ma labithoo fee alAAathabi almuheen

پھر جب ہم نے سلیمان (علیہ السلام) پر موت کا حکم صادر فرما دیا تو اُن (جنّات) کو ان کی موت پر کسی نے آگاہی نہ کی سوائے زمین کی دیمک کے جو اُن کے عصا کو کھاتی رہی، پھر جب آپ کا جسم زمین پر آگیا تو جنّات پر ظاہر ہوگیا کہ اگر وہ غیب جانتے ہوتے تو اس ذلّت انگیز عذاب میں نہ پڑے رہتے

And when We decreed for Solomon death, nothing indicated to the jinn his death except a creature of the earth eating his staff. But when he fell, it became clear to the jinn that if they had known the unseen, they would not have remained in humiliating punishment.

اگر وہ تم سے اس مال کو طلب کر لے پھر تمہیں طلب میں تنگی دے تو تمہیں (دل میں) تنگی محسوس ہوگی (اور) تم بخل کرو گے اور (اس طرح) وہ تمہارے (دنیا پرستی کے باعث باطنی) زنگ ظاہر کر دے گاo

If He should ask you for them and press you, you would withhold, and He would expose your unwillingness.
