يٰبَنِىَّ اذۡهَبُوۡا فَتَحَسَّسُوۡا مِنۡ يُّوۡسُفَ وَاَخِيۡهِ وَلَا تَايۡــَٔسُوۡا مِنۡ رَّوۡحِ اللّٰهِ‌ؕ اِنَّهٗ لَا يَايۡــَٔسُ مِنۡ رَّوۡحِ اللّٰهِ اِلَّا الۡقَوۡمُ الۡكٰفِرُوۡنَ‏ 
— Transliteration
Ya baniyya ithhaboo fatahassasoomin yoosufa waakheehi wala tay-asoo min rawhi Allahiinnahu la yay-asu min rawhi Allahi illaalqawmu alkafiroon

اے میرے بیٹو! جاؤ (کہیں سے) یوسف (علیہ السلام) اور اس کے بھائی کی خبر لے آؤ اور اﷲ کی رحمت سے مایوس نہ ہو، بیشک اﷲ کی رحمت سے صرف وہی لوگ مایوس ہوتے ہیں جو کافر ہیں
— English
O my sons, go and find out about Joseph and his brother and despair not of relief from Allah. Indeed, no one despairs of relief from Allah except the disbelieving people."

Wa-itha anAAamna AAalaal-insani aAArada wanaa bijanibihiwa-itha massahu ashsharru kana yaoosa

اور جب ہم انسان پر (کوئی) انعام فرماتے ہیں تو وہ (شکر سے) گریز کرتا اور پہلو تہی کر جاتا ہے اور جب اسے کوئی تکلیف پہنچ جاتی ہے تو مایوس ہو جاتا ہے (گویا نہ شاکر ہے نہ صابر)

And when We bestow favor upon the disbeliever, he turns away and distances himself; and when evil touches him, he is ever despairing.

قُلۡ يٰعِبَادِىَ الَّذِيۡنَ اَسۡرَفُوۡا عَلٰٓى اَنۡفُسِهِمۡ لَا تَقۡنَطُوۡا مِنۡ رَّحۡمَةِ اللّٰهِ‌ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ يَغۡفِرُ الذُّنُوۡبَ جَمِيۡعًا‌ؕ اِنَّهٗ هُوَ الۡغَفُوۡرُ الرَّحِيۡمُ‏ 
— Transliteration
Qul ya AAibadiya allatheenaasrafoo AAala anfusihim la taqnatoo min rahmatiAllahi inna Allaha yaghfiru aththunoobajameeAAan innahu huwa alghafooru arraheem

آپ فرما دیجئے: اے میرے وہ بندو جنہوں نے اپنی جانوں پر زیادتی کر لی ہے! تم اللہ کی رحمت سے مایوس نہ ہونا، بے شک اللہ سارے گناہ معاف فرما دیتا ہے، وہ یقینا بڑا بخشنے والا، بہت رحم فرمانے والا ہے

Say, "O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful."
