بَلٰٓى ۙ اِنۡ تَصۡبِرُوۡا وَتَتَّقُوۡا وَيَاۡتُوۡكُمۡ مِّنۡ فَوۡرِهِمۡ هٰذَا يُمۡدِدۡكُمۡ رَبُّكُمۡ بِخَمۡسَةِ اٰلَافٍ مِّنَ الۡمَلٰٓٮِٕكَةِ مُسَوِّمِيۡنَ

Bala in tasbiroo watattaqoowaya/tookum min fawrihim hatha yumdidkum rabbukumbikhamsati alafin mina almala-ikatimusawwimeen

Yes, if you remain patient and conscious of Allah and the enemy come upon you [attacking] in rage, your Lord will reinforce you with five thousand angels having marks [of distinction]

سَيَـقُوۡلُوۡنَ ثَلٰثَةٌ رَّابِعُهُمۡ كَلۡبُهُمۡۚ وَيَقُوۡلُوۡنَ خَمۡسَةٌ سَادِسُهُمۡ كَلۡبُهُمۡ رَجۡمًۢا بِالۡغَيۡبِۚ وَيَقُوۡلُوۡنَ سَبۡعَةٌ وَّثَامِنُهُمۡ كَلۡبُهُمۡؕ قُل رَّبِّىۡۤ اَعۡلَمُ بِعِدَّتِهِمۡ مَّا يَعۡلَمُهُمۡ اِلَّا قَلِيۡلٌ فَلَا تُمَارِ فِيۡهِمۡ اِلَّا مِرَآءً ظَاهِرًا وَّلَا تَسۡتَفۡتِ فِيۡهِمۡ مِّنۡهُمۡ اَحَدًا

Sayaqooloona thalathatun rabiAAuhumkalbuhum wayaqooloona khamsatun sadisuhum kalbuhum rajmanbilghaybi wayaqooloona sabAAatun wathaminuhumkalbuhum qul rabbee aAAlamu biAAiddatihim ma yaAAlamuhumilla qaleelun fala tumari feehim illamiraan thahiran wala tastaftifeehim minhum ahada

(اب) کچھ لوگ کہیں گے: (اصحابِ کہف) تین تھے ان میں سے چوتھا ان کا کتا تھا، اور بعض کہیں گے: پانچ تھے ان میں سے چھٹا ان کا کتا تھا، یہ بِن دیکھے اندازے ہیں، اور بعض کہیں گے: (وہ) سات تھے اور ان میں سے آٹھواں ان کا کتا تھا۔ فرما دیجئے: میرا رب ہی ان کی تعداد کو خوب جانتا ہے اور سوائے چند لوگوں کے ان (کی صحیح تعداد) کا علم کسی کو نہیں، سو آپ کسی سے ان کے بارے میں بحث نہ کیا کریں سوائے اس قدر وضاحت کے جو ظاہر ہو چکی ہے اور نہ ان میں سے کسی سے ان (اصحابِ کہف) کے بارے میں کچھ دریافت کریں

They will say there were three, the fourth of them being their dog; and they will say there were five, the sixth of them being their dog - guessing at the unseen; and they will say there were seven, and the eighth of them was their dog. Say, [O Muhammad], "My Lord is most knowing of their number. None knows them except a few. So do not argue about them except with an obvious argument and do not inquire about them among [the speculators] from anyone."

اَلَمۡ تَرَ اَنَّ اللّٰهَ يَعۡلَمُ مَا فِىۡ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَمَا فِىۡ الۡاَرۡضِؕ مَا يَكُوۡنُ مِنۡ نَّجۡوٰى ثَلٰثَةٍ اِلَّا هُوَ رَابِعُهُمۡ وَلَا خَمۡسَةٍ اِلَّا هُوَ سَادِسُهُمۡ وَلَاۤ اَدۡنٰى مِنۡ ذٰلِكَ وَلَاۤ اَكۡثَرَ اِلَّا هُوَ مَعَهُمۡ اَيۡنَ مَا كَانُوۡاۚ ثُمَّ يُنَبِّئُهُمۡ بِمَا عَمِلُوۡا يَوۡمَ الۡقِيٰمَةِؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ بِكُلِّ شَىۡءٍ عَلِيۡمٌ

Alam tara anna Allaha yaAAlamu mafee assamawati wama fee al-ardima yakoonu min najwa thalathatin illahuwa rabiAAuhum wala khamsatin illa huwa sadisuhumwala adna min thalika wala aktharailla huwa maAAahum ayna ma kanoo thummayunabbi-ohum bima AAamiloo yawma alqiyamati innaAllaha bikulli shay-in AAaleem

(اے انسان!) کیا تجھے معلوم نہیں کہ اللہ اُن سب چیزوں کو جانتا ہے جو آسمانوں میں ہیں اور جو زمین میں ہیں، کہیں بھی تین (آدمیوں) کی کوئی سرگوشی نہیں ہوتی مگر یہ کہ وہ (اللہ اپنے محیط علم و آگہی کے ساتھ) اُن کا چوتھا ہوتا ہے اور نہ ہی کوئی پانچ (آدمیوں) کی سرگوشی ہوتی ہے مگر وہ (اپنے علمِ محیط کے ساتھ) اُن کا چھٹا ہوتا ہے، اور نہ اس سے کم (لوگوں) کی اور نہ زیادہ کی مگر وہ (ہمیشہ) اُن کے ساتھ ہوتا ہے جہاں کہیں بھی وہ ہوتے ہیں، پھر وہ قیامت کے دن انہیں اُن کاموں سے خبردار کر دے گا جو وہ کرتے رہے تھے، بیشک اللہ ہر چیز کو خوب جاننے والا ہےo

Have you not considered that Allah knows what is in the heavens and what is on the earth? There is in no private conversation three but that He is the fourth of them, nor are there five but that He is the sixth of them - and no less than that and no more except that He is with them [in knowledge] wherever they are. Then He will inform them of what they did, on the Day of Resurrection. Indeed Allah is, of all things, Knowing.
