Or did the people of the cities feel secure from Our punishment coming to them in the morning while they were at play?

(موسٰی علیہ السلام نے) فرمایا: تمہارے وعدے کا دن یومِ عید (سالانہ جشن کا دن) ہے اور یہ کہ (اس دن) سارے لوگ چاشت کے وقت جمع ہوجائیں

[Moses] said, "Your appointment is on the day of the festival when the people assemble at mid-morning."

It will be, on the Day they see it, as though they had not remained [in the world] except for an afternoon or a morning thereof.
