فَاَرۡسَلۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمُ الطُّوۡفَانَ وَالۡجَـرَادَ وَالۡقُمَّلَ وَالضَّفَادِعَ وَالدَّمَ اٰيٰتٍ مُّفَصَّلٰتٍ فَاسۡتَكۡبَرُوۡا وَكَانُوۡا قَوۡمًا مُّجۡرِمِيۡنَ‏ 

Faarsalna AAalayhimu attoofanawaljarada walqummala waddafadiAAawaddama ayatin mufassalatinfastakbaroo wakanoo qawman mujrimeen

wal-dama

اور خون
āyātin

نشانیاں
mufaṣṣalātin
manifest
وقفے وقفے میں۔ کھلی
fa-is'takbarū
but they showed arrogance
تو انہوں نے تکبر کیا
wakānū
and they were
اور وہ تھے
qawman
a people
لوگ
muj'rimīna
criminal

پھر ہم نے ان پر طوفان، ٹڈیاں،گھن، مینڈک اور خون (کتنی ہی) جداگانہ نشانیاں (بطورِ عذاب) بھیجیں، پھر (بھی) انہوں نے تکبر و سرکشی اختیار کئے رکھی اور وہ (نہایت) مجرم قوم تھے

So We sent upon them the flood and locusts and lice and frogs and blood as distinct signs, but they were arrogant and were a criminal people.
