— Transliteration
Waatoo alyatama amwalahumwala tatabaddaloo alkhabeetha bittayyibiwala ta/kuloo amwalahum ila amwalikuminnahu kana hooban kabeera

اور یتیموں کو ان کے مال دے دو اور بُری چیز کو عمدہ چیز سے نہ بدلا کرو اور نہ ان کے مال اپنے مالوں میں ملا کر کھایا کرو، یقیناً یہ بہت بڑا گناہ ہے

And give to the orphans their properties and do not substitute the defective [of your own] for the good [of theirs]. And do not consume their properties into your own. Indeed, that is ever a great sin.

— Transliteration
Allatheena yabkhaloona waya/muroona annasabilbukhli wayaktumoona ma atahumuAllahu min fadlihi waaAAtadna lilkafireenaAAathaban muheena

جو لوگ (خود بھی) بخل کرتے ہیں اور لوگوں کو (بھی) بخل کا حکم دیتے ہیں اور اس (نعمت) کو چھپاتے ہیں جواللہ نے انہیں اپنے فضل سے عطا کی ہے، اور ہم نے کافروں کے لئے ذلت انگیز عذاب تیار کر رکھا ہے

Who are stingy and enjoin upon [other] people stinginess and conceal what Allah has given them of His bounty - and We have prepared for the disbelievers a humiliating punishment -
وَالَّذِيۡنَ يُنۡفِقُوۡنَ اَمۡوَالَهُمۡ رِئَآءَ النَّاسِ وَلَا يُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ بِاللّٰهِ وَلَا بِالۡيَوۡمِ الۡاٰخِرِؕ وَمَنۡ يَّكُنِ الشَّيۡطٰنُ لَهٗ قَرِيۡنًا فَسَآءَ قَرِيۡنًا
— Transliteration
Wallatheena yunfiqoona amwalahumri-aa annasi wala yu/minoona billahiwala bilyawmi al-akhiri waman yakuni ashshaytanulahu qareenan fasaa qareena

اور جو لوگ اپنے مال لوگوں کے دکھاوے کے لئے خرچ کرتے ہیں اور نہ اللہ پر ایمان رکھتے ہیں اور نہ یومِ آخرت پر، اور شیطان جس کا بھی ساتھی ہوگیا تو وہ برا ساتھی ہےo

And [also] those who spend of their wealth to be seen by the people and believe not in Allah nor in the Last Day. And he to whom Satan is a companion - then evil is he as a companion.
وَمَاذَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ لَوۡ اٰمَنُوۡا بِاللّٰهِ وَالۡيَوۡمِ الۡاٰخِرِ وَاَنۡفَقُوۡا مِمَّا رَزَقَهُمُ اللّٰهُؕ وَكَانَ اللّٰهُ بِهِمۡ عَلِيۡمًا
— Transliteration
Wamatha AAalayhim law amanoobillahi walyawmi al-akhiriwaanfaqoo mimma razaqahumu Allahu wakana Allahubihim AAaleema

اور ان کا کیا نقصان تھا اگر وہ اللہ پر اور یومِ آخرت پر ایمان لے آتے اور جو کچھ اللہ نے انہیں دیا تھا اس میں سے (اس کی راہ میں) خرچ کرتے، اور اللہ ان (کے حال) سے خوب واقف ہےo

And what [harm would come] upon them if they believed in Allah and the Last Day and spent out of what Allah provided for them? And Allah is ever, about them, Knowing.
اِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَا يَظۡلِمُ مِثۡقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ ۚ وَّاِنۡ تَكُ حَسَنَةً يُّضٰعِفۡهَا وَيُؤۡتِ مِنۡ لَّدُنۡهُ اَجۡرًا عَظِيۡمًا
— Transliteration
Inna Allaha la yathlimumithqala tharratin wa-in taku hasanatan yudaAAifhawayu/ti min ladunhu ajran AAatheema

بیشک اللہ ذرّہ برابر بھی ظلم نہیں کرتا، اور اگر کوئی نیکی ہو تو اسے دوگنا کر دیتا ہے اور اپنے پاس سے بڑا اجر عطا فرماتا ہے

Indeed, Allah does not do injustice, [even] as much as an atom's weight; while if there is a good deed, He multiplies it and gives from Himself a great reward.
فَكَيۡفَ اِذَا جِئۡنَا مِنۡ كُلِّ اُمَّةٍۭ بِشَهِيۡدٍ وَّجِئۡنَا بِكَ عَلٰى هٰٓؤُلَآءِ شَهِيۡدًاؔؕ
— Transliteration
Fakayfa itha ji/na min kulliommatin bishaheedin waji/na bika AAala haola-ishaheeda

پھر اس دن کیا حال ہوگا جب ہم ہر امت سے ایک گواہ لائیں گے اور (اے حبیب!) ہم آپ کو ان سب پر گواہ لائیں گے

So how [will it be] when We bring from every nation a witness and we bring you, [O Muhammad] against these [people] as a witness?
يَوۡمَٮِٕذٍ يَّوَدُّ الَّذِيۡنَ كَفَرُوۡا وَعَصَوُا الرَّسُوۡلَ لَوۡ تُسَوّٰى بِهِمُ الۡاَرۡضُؕ وَلَا يَكۡتُمُوۡنَ اللّٰهَ حَدِيۡثًا
— Transliteration
Yawma-ithin yawaddu allatheenakafaroo waAAasawoo arrasoola law tusawwabihimu al-ardu wala yaktumoona Allaha hadeetha

اس دن وہ لوگ جنہوں نے کفر کیا اور رسول (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی نافرمانی کی، آرزو کریں گے کہ کاش (انہیں مٹی میں دبا کر) ان پر زمین برابر کر دی جاتی، اور وہ اللہ سے کوئی بات نہ چھپا سکیں گےo

That Day, those who disbelieved and disobeyed the Messenger will wish they could be covered by the earth. And they will not conceal from Allah a [single] statement.

يٰۤاَيُّهَا الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا لَا يَحِلُّ لَـكُمۡ اَنۡ تَرِثُوۡا النِّسَآءَ كَرۡهًاؕ وَلَا تَعۡضُلُوۡهُنَّ لِتَذۡهَبُوۡا بِبَعۡضِ مَاۤ اٰتَيۡتُمُوۡهُنَّ اِلَّاۤ اَنۡ يَّاۡتِيۡنَ بِفَاحِشَةٍ مُّبَيِّنَةٍۚ وَعَاشِرُوۡهُنَّ بِالۡمَعۡرُوۡفِۚ فَاِنۡ كَرِهۡتُمُوۡهُنَّ فَعَسٰىۤ اَنۡ تَكۡرَهُوۡا شَيْئًا وَّيَجۡعَلَ اللّٰهُ فِيۡهِ خَيۡرًا كَثِيۡرًا

Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoola yahillu lakum an tarithoo annisaakarhan wala taAAduloohunna litathhaboobibaAAdi ma ataytumoohunna illa anya/teena bifahishatin mubayyinatin waAAashiroohunnabilmaAAroofi fa-in karihtumoohunna faAAasa antakrahoo shay-an wayajAAala Allahu feehi khayran katheera

اے ایمان والو! تمہارے لئے یہ حلال نہیں کہ تم زبردستی عورتوں کے وارث بن جاؤ، اور انہیں اس غرض سے نہ روک رکھو کہ جو مال تم نے انہیں دیا تھا اس میں سے کچھ (واپس) لے جاؤ سوائے اس کے کہ وہ کھلی بدکاری کی مرتکب ہوں، اور ان کے ساتھ اچھے طریقے سے برتاؤ کرو، پھر اگر تم انہیں نا پسند کرتے ہو تو ممکن ہے کہ تم کسی چیز کو ناپسند کرو اور اللہ اس میں بہت سی بھلائی رکھ دے

O you who have believed, it is not lawful for you to inherit women by compulsion. And do not make difficulties for them in order to take [back] part of what you gave them unless they commit a clear immorality. And live with them in kindness. For if you dislike them - perhaps you dislike a thing and Allah makes therein much good.

Walikullin jaAAalna mawaliyamimma taraka alwalidani wal-aqraboonawallatheena AAaqadat aymanukum faatoohumnaseebahum inna Allaha kana AAalakulli shay-in shaheeda

اور ہم نے سب کے لئے ماں باپ اور قریبی رشتہ داروں کے چھوڑے ہوئے مال میں حق دار (یعنی وارث) مقرر کر دیئے ہیں، اور جن سے تمہارا معاہدہ ہو چکا ہے سو اُنہیں ان کا حصہ دے دو، بیشک اللہ ہر چیز کا مشاہدہ فرمانے والا ہے

And for all, We have made heirs to what is left by parents and relatives. And to those whom your oaths have bound [to you] - give them their share. Indeed Allah is ever, over all things, a Witness.

يَسۡتَفۡتُوۡنَكَؕ قُلِ اللّٰهُ يُفۡتِيۡكُمۡ فِىۡ الۡـكَلٰلَةِؕ اِنِ امۡرُؤٌا هَلَكَ لَـيۡسَ لَهٗ وَلَدٌ وَّلَهٗۤ اُخۡتٌ فَلَهَا نِصۡفُ مَا تَرَكَۚ وَهُوَ يَرِثُهَاۤ اِنۡ لَّمۡ يَكُنۡ لَّهَا وَلَدٌ ؕ فَاِنۡ كَانَتَا اثۡنَتَيۡنِ فَلَهُمَا الثُّلُثٰنِ مِمَّا تَرَكَؕ وَاِنۡ كَانُوۡۤا اِخۡوَةً رِّجَالاً وَّنِسَآءً فَلِلذَّكَرِ مِثۡلُ حَظِّ الۡاُنۡثَيَيۡنِؕ يُبَيِّنُ اللّٰهُ لَـكُمۡ اَنۡ تَضِلُّوۡاؕ وَاللّٰهُ بِكُلِّ شَىۡءٍ عَلِيۡمٌ
— Transliteration
Yastaftoonaka quli Allahu yufteekumfee alkalalati ini imruon halaka laysa lahu waladun walahuokhtun falaha nisfu ma taraka wahuwayarithuha in lam yakun laha waladun fa-in kanataithnatayni falahuma aththuluthani mimmataraka wa-in kanoo ikhwatan rijalan wanisaanfaliththakari mithlu haththialonthayayni yubayyinu Allahu lakum an tadilloo wallahubikulli shay-in AAaleem

لوگ آپ سے فتویٰ (یعنی شرعی حکم) دریافت کرتے ہیں۔ فرما دیجئے کہ اﷲ تمہیں (بغیر اولاد اور بغیر والدین کے فوت ہونے والے) کلالہ (کی وراثت) کے بارے میں یہ حکم دیتا ہے کہ اگر کوئی ایسا شخص فوت ہو جائے جو بے اولاد ہو مگر اس کی ایک بہن ہو تو اس کے لئے اس (مال) کا آدھا (حصہ) ہے جو اس نے چھوڑا ہے، اور (اگر اس کے برعکس بہن کلالہ ہو تو اس کے مرنے کی صورت میں اس کا) بھائی اس (بہن) کا وارث (کامل) ہوگا اگر اس (بہن) کی کوئی اولاد نہ ہو، پھر اگر (کلالہ بھائی کی موت پر) دو (بہنیں وارث) ہوں تو ان کے لئے اس (مال) کا دو تہائی (حصہ) ہے جو اس نے چھوڑا ہے، اور اگر (بصورتِ کلالہ مرحوم کے) چند بھائی بہن مرد (بھی) اور عورتیں (بھی وارث) ہوں تو پھر (ہر) ایک مرد کا (حصہ) دو عورتوں کے حصہ کے برابر ہوگا۔ (یہ احکام) اﷲ تمہارے لئے کھول کر بیان فرما رہا ہے تاکہ تم بھٹکتے نہ پھرو، اور اﷲ ہر چیز کو خوب جاننے والا ہے

They request from you a [legal] ruling. Say, "Allah gives you a ruling concerning one having neither descendants nor ascendants [as heirs]." If a man dies, leaving no child but [only] a sister, she will have half of what he left. And he inherits from her if she [dies and] has no child. But if there are two sisters [or more], they will have two-thirds of what he left. If there are both brothers and sisters, the male will have the share of two females. Allah makes clear to you [His law], lest you go astray. And Allah is Knowing of all things.
