— Transliteration
Wa-itha qara/ta alqur-anajaAAalna baynaka wabayna allatheena layu/minoona bil-akhirati hijabanmastoora

اور جب آپ قرآن پڑھتے ہیں (تو) ہم آپ کے اور ان لوگوں کے درمیان جو آخرت پر ایمان نہیں رکھتے ایک پوشیدہ پردہ حائل کر دیتے ہیں

And He has made me blessed wherever I am and has enjoined upon me prayer and zakah as long as I remain alive
وَّبَرًّا بِۢوٰلِدَتِىۡ وَلَمۡ يَجۡعَلۡنِىۡ جَبَّارًا شَقِيًّا

Wabarran biwalidatee walam yajAAalneejabbaran shaqiyya

يٰۤاَيُّهَا الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا لَا تَدۡخُلُوۡا بُيُوۡتَ النَّبِىِّ اِلَّاۤ اَنۡ يُّؤۡذَنَ لَـكُمۡ اِلٰى طَعَامٍ غَيۡرَ نٰظِرِيۡنَ اِنٰٮهُۙ وَلٰـكِنۡ اِذَا دُعِيۡتُمۡ فَادۡخُلُوۡا فَاِذَا طَعِمۡتُمۡ فَانتَشِرُوۡا وَلَا مُسۡتَاۡنِسِيۡنَ لِحَـدِيۡثٍؕ اِنَّ ذٰلِكُمۡ كَانَ يُؤۡذِىۡ النَّبِىَّ فَيَسۡتَحۡىٖ مِنۡكُمۡ وَاللّٰهُ لَا يَسۡتَحۡىٖ مِنَ الۡحَـقِّؕ وَاِذَا سَاَلۡتُمُوۡهُنَّ مَتَاعًا فَسۡـَٔلُوۡهُنَّ مِنۡ وَّرَآءِ حِجَابٍؕ ذٰلِكُمۡ اَطۡهَرُ لِقُلُوۡبِكُمۡ وَقُلُوۡبِهِنَّؕ وَمَا كَانَ لَـكُمۡ اَنۡ تُؤۡذُوۡا رَسُوۡلَ اللّٰهِ وَلَاۤ اَنۡ تَـنۡكِحُوۡۤا اَزۡوَاجَهٗ مِنۡۢ بَعۡدِهٖۤ اَبَدًاؕ اِنَّ ذٰلِكُمۡ كَانَ عِنۡدَ اللّٰهِ عَظِيۡمًا
— Transliteration
Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoola tadkhuloo buyoota annabiyyi illa an yu/thanalakum ila taAAamin ghayra nathireenainahu walakin itha duAAeetum fadkhuloofa-itha taAAimtum fantashiroo walamusta/niseena lihadeethin inna thalikum kanayu/thee annabiyya fayastahyee minkum wallahula yastahyee mina alhaqqi wa-ithasaaltumoohunna mataAAan fas-aloohunna min wara-ihijabin thalikum atharu liquloobikumwaquloobihinna wama kana lakum an tu/thoorasoola Allahi wala an tankihoo azwajahumin baAAdihi abadan inna thalikum kana AAinda AllahiAAatheema

اے ایمان والو! نبیِ (مکرّم صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے گھروں میں داخل نہ ہوا کرو سوائے اس کے کہ تمہیں کھانے کے لئے اجازت دی جائے (پھر وقت سے پہلے پہنچ کر) کھانا پکنے کا انتظار کرنے والے نہ بنا کرو، ہاں جب تم بلائے جاؤ تو (اس وقت) اندر آیا کرو پھر جب کھانا کھا چکو تو (وہاں سے اُٹھ کر) فوراً منتشر ہوجایا کرو اور وہاں باتوں میں دل لگا کر بیٹھے رہنے والے نہ بنو۔ یقیناً تمہارا ایسے (دیر تک بیٹھے) رہنا نبیِ (اکرم) کو تکلیف دیتا ہے اور وہ تم سے (اُٹھ جانے کا کہتے ہوئے) شرماتے ہیں اور اللہ حق (بات کہنے) سے نہیں شرماتا، اور جب تم اُن (اَزواجِ مطّہرات) سے کوئی سامان مانگو تو اُن سے پسِ پردہ پوچھا کرو، یہ (ادب) تمہارے دلوں کے لئے اور ان کے دلوں کے لئے بڑی طہارت کا سبب ہے، اور تمہارے لئے (ہرگز جائز) نہیں کہ تم رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو تکلیف پہنچاؤ اور نہ یہ (جائز) ہے کہ تم اُن کے بعد ابَد تک اُن کی اَزواجِ (مطّہرات) سے نکاح کرو، بیشک یہ اللہ کے نزدیک بہت بڑا (گناہ) ہے

O you who have believed, do not enter the houses of the Prophet except when you are permitted for a meal, without awaiting its readiness. But when you are invited, then enter; and when you have eaten, disperse without seeking to remain for conversation. Indeed, that [behavior] was troubling the Prophet, and he is shy of [dismissing] you. But Allah is not shy of the truth. And when you ask [his wives] for something, ask them from behind a partition. That is purer for your hearts and their hearts. And it is not [conceivable or lawful] for you to harm the Messenger of Allah or to marry his wives after him, ever. Indeed, that would be in the sight of Allah an enormity.

And he said, "Indeed, I gave preference to the love of good [things] over the remembrance of my Lord until the sun disappeared into the curtain [of darkness]."

And they say, "Our hearts are within coverings from that to which you invite us, and in our ears is deafness, and between us and you is a partition, so work; indeed, we are working."

Wama kana libasharin anyukallimahu Allahu illa wahyan aw min wara-ihijabin aw yursila rasoolan fayoohiya bi-ithnihima yashao innahu AAaliyyun hakeem

اور ہر بشر کی (یہ) مجال نہیں کہ اللہ اس سے (براہِ راست) کلام کرے مگر یہ کہ وحی کے ذریعے (کسی کو شانِ نبوت سے سرفراز فرما دے) یا پردے کے پیچھے سے (بات کرے جیسے موسٰی علیہ السلام سے طورِ سینا پر کی) یا کسی فرشتے کو فرستادہ بنا کر بھیجے اور وہ اُس کے اِذن سے جو اللہ چاہے وحی کرے (الغرض عالمِ بشریت کے لئے خطابِ اِلٰہی کا واسطہ اور وسیلہ صرف نبی اور رسول ہی ہوگا)، بیشک وہ بلند مرتبہ بڑی حکمت والا ہے

And it is not for any human being that Allah should speak to him except by revelation or from behind a partition or that He sends a messenger to reveal, by His permission, what He wills. Indeed, He is Most High and Wise.
