— Transliteration
Thalika bi-annahum qaloo lantamassana annaru illa ayyamanmaAAdoodatin wagharrahum fee deenihim ma kanooyaftaroon

یہ (روگردانی کی جرأت) اس لئے کہ وہ کہتے ہیں کہ ہمیں گنتی کے چند دنوں کے سوا دوزخ کی آگ مَس نہیں کرے گی، اور وہ (اﷲ پر) جو بہتان باندھتے رہتے ہیں اس نے ان کو اپنے دین کے بارے میں فریب میں مبتلا کر دیا ہے

That is because they say, "Never will the Fire touch us except for [a few] numbered days," and [because] they were deluded in their religion by what they were inventing.

Indeed, Allah does not forgive association with Him, but He forgives what is less than that for whom He wills. And he who associates others with Allah has certainly fabricated a tremendous sin.

Allah has not appointed [such innovations as] bahirah or sa'ibah or wasilah or ham. But those who disbelieve invent falsehood about Allah, and most of them do not reason.

اور اس سے بڑھ کر ظالم کون ہوگا جو اللہ پر جھوٹا بہتان باندھے یا (نبوت کا جھوٹا دعوٰی کرتے ہوئے یہ) کہے کہ میری طرف وحی کی گئی ہے حالانکہ اس کی طرف کچھ بھی وحی نہ کی گئی ہو اور (اس سے بڑھ کر ظالم کون ہوگا) جو (خدائی کا جھوٹا دعویٰ کرتے ہوئے یہ) کہے کہ میں (بھی) عنقریب ایسی ہی (کتاب) نازل کرتا ہوں جیسی اللہ نے نازل کی ہے۔ اور اگر آپ (اس وقت کا منظر) دیکھیں جب ظالم لوگ موت کی سختیوں میں (مبتلا) ہوں گے اور فرشتے (ان کی طرف) اپنے ہاتھ پھیلائے ہوئے ہوں گے اور (ان سے کہتے ہوں گے:) تم اپنی جانیں جسموں سے نکالو۔ آج تمہیں سزا میں ذلّت کا عذاب دیا جائے گا۔ اس وجہ سے کہ تم اﷲ پر ناحق باتیں کیا کرتے تھے اور تم اس کی آیتوں سے سرکشی کیا کرتے تھے

And who is more unjust than one who invents a lie about Allah or says, "It has been inspired to me," while nothing has been inspired to him, and one who says, "I will reveal [something] like what Allah revealed." And if you could but see when the wrongdoers are in the overwhelming pangs of death while the angels extend their hands, [saying], "Discharge your souls! Today you will be awarded the punishment of [extreme] humiliation for what you used to say against Allah other than the truth and [that] you were, toward His verses, being arrogant."

Wakathalika jaAAalna likullinabiyyin AAaduwwan shayateena al-insi waljinni yooheebaAAduhum ila baAAdin zukhrufa alqawlighurooran walaw shaa rabbuka ma faAAaloohu fatharhumwama yaftaroon

اور اسی طرح ہم نے ہر نبی کے لئے انسانوں اور جِنّوں میں سے شیطانوں کو دشمن بنا دیا جو ایک دوسرے کے دل میں ملمع کی ہوئی (چکنی چپڑی) باتیں (وسوسہ کے طور پر) دھوکہ دینے کے لئے ڈالتے رہتے ہیں، اور اگر آپ کا ربّ (انہیں جبراً روکنا) چاہتا (تو) وہ ایسا نہ کر پاتے، سو آپ انہیں (بھی) چھوڑ دیں اور جو کچھ وہ بہتان باندھ رہے ہیں (اسے بھی)

And thus We have made for every prophet an enemy - devils from mankind and jinn, inspiring to one another decorative speech in delusion. But if your Lord had willed, they would not have done it, so leave them and that which they invent.

واقعی ایسے لوگ برباد ہوگئے جنہوں نے اپنی اولاد کو بغیر علمِ (صحیح) کے (محض) بیوقوفی سے قتل کر ڈالا اور ان (چیزوں) کو جو اﷲ نے انہیں (روزی کے طور پر) بخشی تھیں اﷲ پر بہتان باندھتے ہوئے حرام کر ڈالا، بیشک وہ گمراہ ہو گئے اور ہدایت یافتہ نہ ہو سکے

Those will have lost who killed their children in foolishness without knowledge and prohibited what Allah had provided for them, inventing untruth about Allah. They have gone astray and were not [rightly] guided.

Wamina al-ibili ithnayni wamina albaqariithnayni qul aththakarayni harramaami alonthayayni amma ishtamalat AAalayhi arhamualonthayayni am kuntum shuhadaa ith wassakumuAllahu bihatha faman athlamu mimmaniiftara AAala Allahi kathiban liyudillaannasa bighayri AAilmin inna Allaha layahdee alqawma aththalimeen

اور دو (نر و مادہ) اونٹ سے اور دو (نر و مادہ) گائے سے۔ (آپ ان سے) فرما دیجئے: کیا اس نے دونوں نر حرام کئے ہیں یا دونوں مادہ یا وہ (بچہ) جو دونوں ماداؤں کے رحموں میں موجود ہے؟ کیا تم اس وقت موجود تھے جب اﷲ نے تمہیں اس (حرمت) کا حکم دیا تھا؟ پھر اس سے بڑھ کر ظالم کون ہو سکتا ہے جو اﷲ پر جھوٹا بہتان باندھتا ہے تاکہ لوگوں کو بغیر جانے گمراہ کرتا پھرے۔ بیشک اﷲ ظالم قوم کو ہدایت نہیں فرماتا

And of the camels, two and of the cattle, two. Say, "Is it the two males He has forbidden or the two females or that which the wombs of the two females contain? Or were you witnesses when Allah charged you with this? Then who is more unjust than one who invents a lie about Allah to mislead the people by [something] other than knowledge? Indeed, Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people."

فَمَنۡ اَظۡلَمُ مِمَّنِ افۡتَرٰى عَلَى اللّٰهِ كَذِبًا اَوۡ كَذَّبَ بِاٰيٰتِهٖؕ اُولٰۤٮِٕكَ يَنَالُهُمۡ نَصِيۡبُهُمۡ مِّنَ الۡـكِتٰبِؕ حَتّٰٓى اِذَا جَآءَتۡهُمۡ رُسُلُـنَا يَتَوَفَّوۡنَهُمۡۙ قَالُوۡۤا اَيۡنَ مَا كُنۡتُمۡ تَدۡعُوۡنَ مِنۡ دُوۡنِ اللّٰهِؕ قَالُوۡا ضَلُّوۡا عَنَّا وَشَهِدُوۡا عَلٰٓى اَنۡفُسِهِمۡ اَنَّهُمۡ كَانُوۡا كٰفِرِيۡنَ
— Transliteration
Faman athlamu mimmani iftaraAAala Allahi kathiban aw kaththababi-ayatihi ola-ika yanaluhum naseebuhummina alkitabi hatta itha jaat-humrusuluna yatawaffawnahum qaloo ayna makuntum tadAAoona min dooni Allahi qaloo dallooAAanna washahidoo AAala anfusihim annahum kanookafireen

پھر اس شخص سے زیادہ ظالم کون ہو سکتا ہے جو اﷲ پر جھوٹا بہتان باندھے یا اس کی آیتوں کو جھٹلائے؟ ان لوگوں کو ان کا (وہ) حصہ پہنچ جائے گا (جو) نوشۃٔ کتاب ہے، یہاں تک کہ جب ان کے پاس ہمارے بھیجے ہوئے (فرشتے) آئیں گے کہ ان کی روحیں قبض کر لیں (تو ان سے) کہیں گے: اب وہ (جھوٹے معبود) کہاں ہیں جن کی تم اﷲ کے سوا عبادت کرتے تھے؟ وہ (جواباً) کہیں گے کہ وہ ہم سے گم ہوگئے (یعنی اب کہاں نظر آتے ہیں) اور وہ اپنی جانوں کے خلاف (خود یہ) گواہی دیں گے کہ بیشک وہ کافر تھے

And who is more unjust than one who invents about Allah a lie or denies His verses? Those will attain their portion of the decree until when Our messengers come to them to take them in death, they will say, "Where are those you used to invoke besides Allah?" They will say, "They have departed from us," and will bear witness against themselves that they were disbelievers.

هَلۡ يَنۡظُرُوۡنَ اِلَّا تَاۡوِيۡلَهٗؕ يَوۡمَ يَاۡتِىۡ تَاۡوِيۡلُهٗ يَقُوۡلُ الَّذِيۡنَ نَسُوۡهُ مِنۡ قَبۡلُ قَدۡ جَآءَتۡ رُسُلُ رَبِّنَا بِالۡحَـقِّۚ فَهَل لَّـنَا مِنۡ شُفَعَآءَ فَيَشۡفَعُوۡا لَـنَاۤ اَوۡ نُرَدُّ فَنَعۡمَلَ غَيۡرَ الَّذِىۡ كُنَّا نَـعۡمَلُؕ قَدۡ خَسِرُوۡۤا اَنۡفُسَهُمۡ وَضَلَّ عَنۡهُمۡ مَّا كَانُوۡا يَفۡتَرُوۡنَ

Hal yanthuroona illata/weelahu yawma ya/tee ta/weeluhu yaqoolu allatheenanasoohu min qablu qad jaat rusulu rabbina bilhaqqifahal lana min shufaAAaa fayashfaAAoo lanaaw nuraddu fanaAAmala ghayra allathee kunnanaAAmalu qad khasiroo anfusahum wadalla AAanhum makanoo yaftaroon

وہ صرف اس (کہی ہوئی بات) کے انجام کے منتظر ہیں، جس دن اس (بات) کا انجام سامنے آجائے گا وہ لوگ جو اس سے قبل اسے بھلا چکے تھے کہیں گے: بیشک ہمارے رب کے رسول حق (بات) لے کر آئے تھے، سو کیا (آج) ہمارے کوئی سفارشی ہیں جو ہمارے لئے سفارش کر دیں یا ہم (پھر دنیا میں) لوٹا دیئے جائیں تاکہ ہم (اس مرتبہ) ان (اعمال) سے مختلف عمل کریں جو (پہلے) کرتے رہے تھے۔ بیشک انہوں نے اپنے آپ کو نقصان پہنچایا اور وہ (بہتان و افتراء) ان سے جاتا رہا جو وہ گھڑا کرتے تھے

Do they await except its result? The Day its result comes those who had ignored it before will say, "The messengers of our Lord had come with the truth, so are there [now] any intercessors to intercede for us or could we be sent back to do other than we used to do?" They will have lost themselves, and lost from them is what they used to invent.

قَدِ افۡتَرَيۡنَا عَلَى اللّٰهِ كَذِبًا اِنۡ عُدۡنَا فِىۡ مِلَّتِكُمۡ بَعۡدَ اِذۡ نَجّٰٮنَا اللّٰهُ مِنۡهَاؕ وَمَا يَكُوۡنُ لَـنَاۤ اَنۡ نَّعُوۡدَ فِيۡهَاۤ اِلَّاۤ اَنۡ يَّشَآءَ اللّٰهُ رَبُّنَاؕ وَسِعَ رَبُّنَا كُلَّ شَىۡءٍ عِلۡمًاؕ عَلَى اللّٰهِ تَوَكَّلۡنَاؕ رَبَّنَا افۡتَحۡ بَيۡنَنَا وَبَيۡنَ قَوۡمِنَا بِالۡحَـقِّ وَاَنۡتَ خَيۡرُ الۡفٰتِحِيۡنَ
— Transliteration
Qadi iftarayna AAala Allahikathiban in AAudna fee millatikum baAAda ithnajjana Allahu minha wamayakoonu lana an naAAooda feeha illa an yashaaAllahu rabbuna wasiAAa rabbuna kulla shay-inAAilman AAala Allahi tawakkalna rabbanaiftah baynana wabayna qawmina bilhaqqiwaanta khayru alfatiheen

بیشک ہم اللہ پر جھوٹا بہتان باندھیں گے اگر ہم تمہارے مذہب میں اس امر کے بعد پلٹ جائیں کہ اللہ نے ہمیں اس سے بچا لیا ہے، اور ہمارے لئے ہرگز (مناسب) نہیں کہ ہم اس (مذہب) میں پلٹ جائیں مگر یہ کہ اللہ چاہے جو ہمارا رب ہے۔ ہمارا رب اَز روئے علم ہر چیز پر محیط ہے۔ ہم نے اللہ ہی پر بھروسہ کرلیا ہے، اے ہمارے رب! ہمارے اور ہماری (مخالف) قوم کے درمیان حق کے ساتھ فیصلہ فرما دے اور تو سب سے بہتر فیصلہ فرمانے والا ہے

We would have invented against Allah a lie if we returned to your religion after Allah had saved us from it. And it is not for us to return to it except that Allah, our Lord, should will. Our Lord has encompassed all things in knowledge. Upon Allah we have relied. Our Lord, decide between us and our people in truth, and You are the best of those who give decision."

Inna allatheena ittakhathooalAAijla sayanaluhum ghadabun min rabbihim wathillatunfee alhayati addunya wakathalikanajzee almuftareen

Indeed, those who took the calf [for worship] will obtain anger from their Lord and humiliation in the life of this world, and thus do We recompense the inventors [of falsehood].

So who is more unjust than he who invents a lie about Allah or denies His signs? Indeed, the criminals will not succeed

There, [on that Day], every soul will be put to trial for what it did previously, and they will be returned to Allah, their master, the Truth, and lost from them is whatever they used to invent.

پھر آپ کی قوم نے آپ کو جھٹلایا پس ہم نے انہیں اور جو ان کے ساتھ کشتی میں تھے (عذابِ طوفان سے) نجات دی اور ہم نے انہیں (زمین میں) جانشین بنادیا اور ان لوگوں کو غرق کردیا جنہوں نے ہماری آیتوں کو جھٹلایا تھا، سو آپ دیکھئے کہ ان لوگوں کا انجام کیسا ہوا جو ڈرائے گئے تھے

And they denied him, so We saved him and those with him in the ship and made them successors, and We drowned those who denied Our signs. Then see how was the end of those who were warned.
ثُمَّ بَعَثۡنَا مِنۡۢ بَعۡدِهٖ رُسُلاً اِلٰى قَوۡمِهِمۡ فَجَآءُوۡهُمۡ بِالۡبَيِّنٰتِ فَمَا كَانُوۡا لِيُؤۡمِنُوۡا بِمَا كَذَّبُوۡا بِهٖ مِنۡ قَبۡلُؕ كَذٰلِكَ نَطۡبَعُ عَلٰى قُلُوۡبِ الۡمُعۡتَدِيۡنَ
— Transliteration
Thumma baAAathna min baAAdihi rusulanila qawmihim fajaoohum bilbayyinatifama kanoo liyu/minoo bima kaththaboobihi min qablu kathalika natbaAAu AAalaquloobi almuAAtadeen

پھر ہم نے ان کے بعد (کتنے ہی) رسولوں کو ان کی قوموں کی طرف بھیجا سو وہ ان کے پاس واضح نشانیاں لے کر آئے پس وہ لوگ (بھی) ایسے نہ ہوئے کہ اس (بات) پر ایمان لے آتے جسے وہ پہلے جھٹلا چکے تھے۔ اسی طرح ہم سرکشی کرنے والوں کے دلوں پر مُہر لگا دیا کرتے ہیں

Then We sent after him messengers to their peoples, and they came to them with clear proofs. But they were not to believe in that which they had denied before. Thus We seal over the hearts of the transgressors

Say, "Have you seen what Allah has sent down to you of provision of which you have made [some] lawful and [some] unlawful?" Say, "Has Allah permitted you [to do so], or do you invent [something] about Allah?"

And what will be the supposition of those who invent falsehood about Allah on the Day of Resurrection? Indeed, Allah is full of bounty to the people, but most of them are not grateful."

Or do they say, "He invented it"? Say, "Then bring ten surahs like it that have been invented and call upon [for assistance] whomever you can besides Allah, if you should be truthful."

And who is more unjust than he who invents a lie about Allah? Those will be presented before their Lord, and the witnesses will say, "These are the ones who lied against their Lord." Unquestionably, the curse of Allah is upon the wrongdoers.

Or do they say [about Prophet Muhammad], "He invented it"? Say, "If I have invented it, then upon me is [the consequence of] my crime; but I am innocent of what [crimes] you commit."

And to 'Aad [We sent] their brother Hud. He said, "O my people, worship Allah; you have no deity other than Him. You are not but inventors [of falsehood].

There was certainly in their stories a lesson for those of understanding. Never was the Qur'an a narration invented, but a confirmation of what was before it and a detailed explanation of all things and guidance and mercy for a people who believe.

وَيَجۡعَلُوۡنَ لِمَا لَا يَعۡلَمُوۡنَ نَصِيۡبًا مِّمَّا رَزَقۡنٰهُمۡؕ تَاللّٰهِ لَـتُسۡــَٔلُنَّ عَمَّا كُنۡتُمۡ تَفۡتَرُوۡنَ
— Transliteration
WayajAAaloona lima layaAAlamoona naseeban mimma razaqnahum tallahilatus-alunna AAamma kuntum taftaroon

اور یہ ان (بتوں) کے لئے جن (کی حقیقت) کو وہ خود بھی نہیں جانتے اس رزق میں سے حصہ مقرر کرتے ہیں جو ہم نے انہیں عطا کر رکھا ہے۔ اللہ کی قسم! تم سے اس بہتان کی نسبت ضرور پوچھ گچھ کی جائے گی جو تم باندھا کرتے ہو

And they assign to what they do not know a portion of that which We have provided them. By Allah, you will surely be questioned about what you used to invent.

Waalqaw ila Allahi yawma-ithinassalama wadalla AAanhum ma kanooyaftaroon

Wa-itha baddalna ayatanmakana ayatin wallahu aAAlamu bimayunazzilu qaloo innama anta muftarin bal aktharuhumla yaAAlamoon

اور جب ہم کسی آیت کی جگہ دوسری آیت بدل دیتے ہیں اور اللہ (ہی) بہتر جانتا ہے جو (کچھ) وہ نازل فرماتا ہے (تو) کفار کہتے ہیں کہ آپ تو بس اپنی طرف سے گھڑنے والے ہیں، بلکہ ان میں سے اکثر لوگ (آیتوں کے اتارنے اور بدلنے کی حکمت) نہیں جانتے

And when We substitute a verse in place of a verse - and Allah is most knowing of what He sends down - they say, "You, [O Muhammad], are but an inventor [of lies]." But most of them do not know.

They only invent falsehood who do not believe in the verses of Allah, and it is those who are the liars.

اور وہ جھوٹ مت کہا کرو جو تمہاری زبانیں بیان کرتی رہتی ہیں کہ یہ حلال ہے اور یہ حرام ہے اس طرح کہ تم اللہ پر جھوٹا بہتان باندھو، بیشک جو لوگ اللہ پر جھوٹا بہتان باندھتے ہیں وہ (کبھی) فلاح نہیں پائیں گے

And do not say about what your tongues assert of untruth, "This is lawful and this is unlawful," to invent falsehood about Allah. Indeed, those who invent falsehood about Allah will not succeed.

And indeed, they were about to tempt you away from that which We revealed to you in order to [make] you invent about Us something else; and then they would have taken you as a friend.

Haola-i qawmuna ittakhathoomin doonihi alihatan lawla ya/toona AAalayhim bisultaninbayyinin faman athlamu mimmani iftara AAalaAllahi kathiba

These, our people, have taken besides Him deities. Why do they not bring for [worship of] them a clear authority? And who is more unjust than one who invents about Allah a lie?"

Moses said to the magicians summoned by Pharaoh, "Woe to you! Do not invent a lie against Allah or He will exterminate you with a punishment; and he has failed who invents [such falsehood]."

But they say, "[The revelation is but] a mixture of false dreams; rather, he has invented it; rather, he is a poet. So let him bring us a sign just as the previous [messengers] were sent [with miracles]."

And We will extract from every nation a witness and say, "Produce your proof," and they will know that the truth belongs to Allah, and lost from them is that which they used to invent.

But they will surely carry their [own] burdens and [other] burdens along with their burdens, and they will surely be questioned on the Day of Resurrection about what they used to invent.

Or do they say, "He invented it"? Rather, it is the truth from your Lord, [O Muhammad], that you may warn a people to whom no warner has come before you [so] perhaps they will be guided.

Has he invented about Allah a lie or is there in him madness?" Rather, they who do not believe in the Hereafter will be in the punishment and [are in] extreme error.

Wa-itha tutla AAalayhim ayatunabayyinatin qaloo ma hatha illarajulun yureedu an yasuddakum AAamma kanayaAAbudu abaokum waqaloo ma hathailla ifkun muftaran waqala allatheenakafaroo lilhaqqi lamma jaahum in hathailla sihrun mubeen

اور جب اُن پر ہماری روشن آیتیں پڑھ کر سنائی جاتی ہیں تو وہ کہتے ہیں: یہ (رسول صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) تو ایک ایسا شخص ہے جو تمہیں صرف اُن (بتوں) سے روکنا چاہتا ہے جن کی تمہارے باپ دادا پوجا کیا کرتے تھے، اور یہ (بھی) کہتے ہیں کہ یہ (قرآن) محض من گھڑت بہتان ہے، اور کافر لوگ اس حق (یعنی قرآن) سے متعلق جبکہ وہ اِن کے پاس آچکا ہے، یہ بھی کہتے ہیں کہ یہ تو محض کھلا جادو ہے

And when our verses are recited to them as clear evidences, they say, "This is not but a man who wishes to avert you from that which your fathers were worshipping." And they say, "This is not except a lie invented." And those who disbelieve say of the truth when it has come to them, "This is not but obvious magic."

— Transliteration
Am yaqooloona iftara AAala Allahikathiban fa-in yasha-i Allahu yakhtim AAalaqalbika wayamhu Allahu albatila wayuhiqqualhaqqa bikalimatihi innahu AAaleemun bithatiassudoor

کیا یہ لوگ کہتے ہیں کہ اس (رسول صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے اللہ پر جھوٹا بہتان تراشا ہے، سو اگر اللہ چاہے توآپ کے قلبِ اطہر پر (صبر و استقامت کی) مُہر ثبت فرما دے (تاکہ آپ کو اِن کی بیہودہ گوئی کا رنج نہ پہنچے)، اور اﷲ باطل کو مٹا دیتا ہے اور اپنے کلمات سے حق کو ثابت رکھتا ہے۔ بیشک وہ سینوں کی باتوں کو خوب جاننے والا ہے

Or do they say, "He has invented about Allah a lie"? But if Allah willed, He could seal over your heart. And Allah eliminates falsehood and establishes the truth by His words. Indeed, He is Knowing of that within the breasts.

اَمۡ يَقُوۡلُوۡنَ افۡتَرٰٮهُؕ قُلۡ اِنِ افۡتَرَيۡتُهٗ فَلَا تَمۡلِكُوۡنَ لِىۡ مِنَ اللّٰهِ شَيْئًا ؕ هُوَ اَعۡلَمُ بِمَا تُفِيۡضُوۡنَ فِيۡهِؕ كَفٰى بِهٖ شَهِيۡدًاۢ بَيۡنِىۡ وَبَيۡنَكُمۡ ؕ وَهُوَ الۡغَفُوۡرُ الرَّحِيۡمُ
— Transliteration
Am yaqooloona iftarahu qul iniiftaraytuhu fala tamlikoona lee mina Allahi shay-anhuwa aAAlamu bima tufeedoona feehi kafa bihishaheedan baynee wabaynakum wahuwa alghafooru arraheem

کیا وہ لوگ (یہ) کہتے ہیں کہ اس (قرآن) کو (پیغمبر نے) گھڑ لیا ہے۔ آپ فرما دیں: اگر اسے میں نے گھڑا ہے تو تم مجھے اللہ (کے عذاب) سے (بچانے کا) کچھ بھی اختیار نہیں رکھتے، اور وہ ان (باتوں) کو خوب جانتا ہے جو تم اس (قرآن) کے بارے میں طعنہ زنی کے طور پر کر رہے ہو۔ وہی (اللہ) میرے اور تمہارے درمیان گواہ کافی ہے، اور وہ بڑا بخشنے والا بہت رحم فرمانے والا ہےo

Or do they say, "He has invented it?" Say, "If I have invented it, you will not possess for me [the power of protection] from Allah at all. He is most knowing of that in which you are involved. Sufficient is He as Witness between me and you, and He is the Forgiving the Merciful."

فَلَوۡلَا نَصَرَهُمُ الَّذِيۡنَ اتَّخَذُوۡا مِنۡ دُوۡنِ اللّٰهِ قُرۡبَانًا اٰلِهَةً ؕ بَلۡ ضَلُّوۡا عَنۡهُمۡۚ وَذٰلِكَ اِفۡكُهُمۡ وَمَا كَانُوۡا يَفۡتَرُوۡنَ
— Transliteration
Falawla nasarahumu allatheenaittakhathoo min dooni Allahi qurbanan alihatanbal dalloo AAanhum wathalika ifkuhum wama kanooyaftaroon

يٰۤاَيُّهَا النَّبِىُّ اِذَا جَآءَكَ الۡمُؤۡمِنٰتُ يُبَايِعۡنَكَ عَلٰٓى اَنۡ لَّا يُشۡرِكۡنَ بِاللّٰهِ شَيْئًا وَّلَا يَسۡرِقۡنَ وَلَا يَزۡنِيۡنَ وَلَا يَقۡتُلۡنَ اَوۡلَادَهُنَّ وَلَا يَاۡتِيۡنَ بِبُهۡتَانٍ يَّفۡتَرِيۡنَهٗ بَيۡنَ اَيۡدِيۡهِنَّ وَاَرۡجُلِهِنَّ وَلَا يَعۡصِيۡنَكَ فِىۡ مَعۡرُوۡفٍ فَبَايِعۡهُنَّ وَاسۡتَغۡفِرۡ لَهُنَّ اللّٰهَؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ غَفُوۡرٌ رَّحِيۡمٌ
— Transliteration
Ya ayyuha annabiyyu ithajaaka almu/minatu yubayiAAnaka AAalaan la yushrikna billahi shay-an walayasriqna wala yazneena wala yaqtulna awladahunnawala ya/teena bibuhtanin yaftareenahu baynaaydeehinna waarjulihinna wala yaAAseenaka feemaAAroofin fabayiAAhunna wastaghfir lahunna Allahainna Allaha ghafoorun raheem

اے نبی! جب آپ کی خدمت میں مومن عورتیں اس بات پر بیعت کرنے کے لئے حاضر ہوں کہ وہ اللہ کے ساتھ کسی چیز کو شریک نہیں ٹھہرائیں گی اور چوری نہیں کریں گی اور بدکاری نہیں کریں گی اور اپنی اولاد کو قتل نہیں کریں گی اور اپنے ہاتھوں اور پاؤں کے درمیان سے کوئی جھوٹا بہتان گھڑ کر نہیں لائیں گی (یعنی اپنے شوہر کو دھوکہ دیتے ہوئے کسی غیر کے بچے کو اپنے پیٹ سے جنا ہوا نہیں بتائیں گی) اور (کسی بھی) امرِ شریعت میں آپ کی نافرمانی نہیں کریں گی، تو آپ اُن سے بیعت لے لیا کریں اور اُن کے لئے اللہ سے بخشش طلب فرمائیں، بیشک اللہ بڑا بخشنے والا نہایت مہربان ہےo

O Prophet, when the believing women come to you pledging to you that they will not associate anything with Allah, nor will they steal, nor will they commit unlawful sexual intercourse, nor will they kill their children, nor will they bring forth a slander they have invented between their arms and legs, nor will they disobey you in what is right - then accept their pledge and ask forgiveness for them of Allah. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

وَمَنۡ اَظۡلَمُ مِمَّنِ افۡتَرٰى عَلَى اللّٰهِ الۡكَذِبَ وَهُوَ يُدۡعٰٓى اِلَى الۡاِسۡلَامِؕ وَاللّٰهُ لَا يَهۡدِىۡ الۡقَوۡمَ الظّٰلِمِيۡنَ
— Transliteration
Waman athlamu mimmani iftaraAAala Allahi alkathiba wahuwa yudAAaila al-islami wallahu layahdee alqawma aththalimeen

اور اس شخص سے بڑھ کر ظالم کون ہو سکتا ہے جو اللہ پر جھوٹا بہتان باندھے حالانکہ اسے اسلام کی طرف بلایا جا رہا ہو، اور اللہ ظالم لوگوں کو ہدایت نہیں فرماتاo
— English
And who is more unjust than one who invents about Allah untruth while he is being invited to Islam. And Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people.
