کیا آپ کے رب کی رحمتِ (نبوّت) کو یہ لوگ تقسیم کرتے ہیں؟ ہم اِن کے درمیان دنیوی زندگی میں ان کے (اسبابِ) معیشت کو تقسیم کرتے ہیں اور ہم ہی ان میں سے بعض کو بعض پر (وسائل و دولت میں) درجات کی فوقیت دیتے ہیں، (کیا ہم یہ اس لئے کرتے ہیں) کہ ان میں سے بعض (جو امیر ہیں) بعض (غریبوں) کا مذاق اڑائیں (یہ غربت کا تمسخر ہے کہ تم اس وجہ سے کسی کو رحمتِ نبوت کا حق دار ہی نہ سمجھو)، اور آپ کے رب کی رحمت اس (دولت) سے بہتر ہے جسے وہ جمع کرتے (اور گھمنڈ کرتے) ہیں

Do they distribute the mercy of your Lord? It is We who have apportioned among them their livelihood in the life of this world and have raised some of them above others in degrees [of rank] that they may make use of one another for service. But the mercy of your Lord is better than whatever they accumulate.
