اُحِلَّ لَـکُمۡ لَيۡلَةَ الصِّيَامِ الرَّفَثُ اِلٰى نِسَآٮِٕكُمۡؕ هُنَّ لِبَاسٌ لَّـكُمۡ وَاَنۡتُمۡ لِبَاسٌ لَّهُنَّؕ عَلِمَ اللّٰهُ اَنَّکُمۡ كُنۡتُمۡ تَخۡتَانُوۡنَ اَنۡفُسَکُمۡ فَتَابَ عَلَيۡكُمۡ وَعَفَا عَنۡكُمۡۚ فَالۡـٰٔـنَ بَاشِرُوۡهُنَّ وَابۡتَغُوۡا مَا کَتَبَ اللّٰهُ لَـكُمۡؕ وَكُلُوۡا وَاشۡرَبُوۡا حَتّٰى يَتَبَيَّنَ لَـكُمُ الۡخَـيۡطُ الۡاَبۡيَضُ مِنَ الۡخَـيۡطِ الۡاَسۡوَدِ مِنَ الۡفَجۡرِؕ ثُمَّ اَتِمُّوۡا الصِّيَامَ اِلَى الَّيۡلِۚ وَلَا تُبَاشِرُوۡهُنَّ وَاَنۡتُمۡ عَاكِفُونَ فِىۡ الۡمَسٰجِدِؕ تِلۡكَ حُدُوۡدُ اللّٰهِ فَلَا تَقۡرَبُوۡهَاؕ كَذٰلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ اللّٰهُ اٰيٰتِهٖ لِلنَّاسِ لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَتَّقُوۡنَ

Ohilla lakum laylata assiyamiarrafathu ila nisa-ikum hunna libasunlakum waantum libasun lahunna AAalima Allahuannakum kuntum takhtanoona anfusakum fatabaAAalaykum waAAafa AAankum fal-ana bashiroohunnawabtaghoo ma kataba Allahu lakum wakuloo washraboohatta yatabayyana lakumu alkhaytu al-abyadumina alkhayti al-aswadi mina alfajri thumma atimmoo assiyamaila allayli wala tubashiroohunna waantum AAakifoonafee almasajidi tilka hudoodu Allahi falataqrabooha kathalika yubayyinu Allahu ayatihilinnasi laAAallahum yattaqoon

تمہارے لئے روزوں کی راتوں میں اپنی بیویوں کے پاس جانا حلال کر دیا گیا ہے، وہ تمہاری پوشاک ہیں اور تم ان کی پوشاک ہو، اﷲ کو معلوم ہے کہ تم اپنے حق میں خیانت کرتے تھے سو اس نے تمہارے حال پر رحم کیا اور تمہیں معاف فرما دیا، پس اب (روزوں کی راتوں میں بیشک) ان سے مباشرت کیا کرو اور جو اﷲ نے تمہارے لئے لکھ دیا ہے چاہا کرو اور کھاتے پیتے رہا کرو یہاں تک کہ تم پر صبح کا سفید ڈورا (رات کے) سیاہ ڈورے سے (الگ ہو کر) نمایاں ہو جائے، پھر روزہ رات (کی آمد) تک پورا کرو، اور عورتوں سے اس دوران شب باشی نہ کیا کرو جب تم مسجدوں میں اعتکاف بیٹھے ہو، یہ اﷲ کی (قائم کردہ) حدیں ہیں پس ان (کے توڑنے) کے نزدیک نہ جاؤ، اسی طرح اﷲ لوگوں کے لئے اپنی آیتیں (کھول کر) بیان فرماتا ہے تاکہ وہ پرہیزگاری اختیار کریں

It has been made permissible for you the night preceding fasting to go to your wives [for sexual relations]. They are clothing for you and you are clothing for them. Allah knows that you used to deceive yourselves, so He accepted your repentance and forgave you. So now, have relations with them and seek that which Allah has decreed for you. And eat and drink until the white thread of dawn becomes distinct to you from the black thread [of night]. Then complete the fast until the sunset. And do not have relations with them as long as you are staying for worship in the mosques. These are the limits [set by] Allah, so do not approach them. Thus does Allah make clear His ordinances to the people that they may become righteous.

وَلَا تَنۡكِحُوۡا الۡمُشۡرِكٰتِ حَتّٰى يُؤۡمِنَّؕ وَلَاَمَةٌ مُّؤۡمِنَةٌ خَيۡرٌ مِّنۡ مُّشۡرِكَةٍ وَّلَوۡ اَعۡجَبَتۡكُمۡۚ وَلَا تُنۡكِحُوۡا الۡمُشۡرِكِيۡنَ حَتّٰى يُؤۡمِنُوۡاؕ وَلَعَبۡدٌ مُّؤۡمِنٌ خَيۡرٌ مِّنۡ مُّشۡرِكٍ وَّلَوۡ اَعۡجَبَكُمۡۚ اُولٰٓٮِٕكَ يَدۡعُوۡنَ اِلَى النَّارِ ۖۚ وَاللّٰهُ يَدۡعُوۡٓا اِلَى الۡجَـنَّةِ وَالۡمَغۡفِرَةِ بِاِذۡنِهٖۚ وَيُبَيِّنُ اٰيٰتِهٖ لِلنَّاسِ لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَتَذَكَّرُوۡنَ

Wala tankihoo almushrikatihatta yu/minna walaamatun mu/minatun khayrun minmushrikatin walaw aAAjabatkum wala tunkihooalmushrikeena hatta yu/minoo walaAAabdun mu/minunkhayrun min mushrikin walaw aAAjabakum ola-ika yadAAoonaila annari wallahu yadAAooila aljannati walmaghfirati bi-ithnihiwayubayyinu ayatihi linnasilaAAallahum yatathakkaroon

اور تم مشرک عورتوں کے ساتھ نکاح مت کرو جب تک وہ مسلمان نہ ہو جائیں، اور بیشک مسلمان لونڈی (آزاد) مشرک عورت سے بہتر ہے خواہ وہ تمہیں بھلی ہی لگے، اور (مسلمان عورتوں کا) مشرک مردوں سے بھی نکاح نہ کرو جب تک وہ مسلمان نہ ہو جائیں، اور یقیناً مشرک مرد سے مؤمن غلام بہتر ہے خواہ وہ تمہیں بھلا ہی لگے، وہ (کافر اور مشرک) دوزخ کی طرف بلاتے ہیں، اور اﷲ اپنے حکم سے جنت اور مغفرت کی طرف بلاتا ہے، اور اپنی آیتیں لوگوں کے لئے کھول کر بیان فرماتا ہے تاکہ وہ نصیحت حاصل کریں

And do not marry polytheistic women until they believe. And a believing slave woman is better than a polytheist, even though she might please you. And do not marry polytheistic men [to your women] until they believe. And a believing slave is better than a polytheist, even though he might please you. Those invite [you] to the Fire, but Allah invites to Paradise and to forgiveness, by His permission. And He makes clear His verses to the people that perhaps they may remember.

Wa-in khiftum alla tuqsitoo feealyatama fankihoo ma tabalakum mina annisa-i mathna wathulathawarubaAAa fa-in khiftum alla taAAdiloo fawahidatanaw ma malakat aymanukum thalika adnaalla taAAooloo

اور اگر تمہیں اندیشہ ہو کہ تم یتیم لڑکیوں کے بارے میں انصاف نہ کر سکو گے تو ان عورتوں سے نکاح کرو جو تمہارے لئے پسندیدہ اور حلال ہوں، دو دو اور تین تین اور چار چار (مگر یہ اجازت بشرطِ عدل ہے)، پھر اگر تمہیں اندیشہ ہو کہ تم (زائد بیویوں میں) عدل نہیں کر سکو گے تو صرف ایک ہی عورت سے (نکاح کرو) یا وہ کنیزیں جو (شرعاً) تمہاری ملکیت میں آئی ہوں، یہ بات اس سے قریب تر ہے کہ تم سے ظلم نہ ہو

And if you fear that you will not deal justly with the orphan girls, then marry those that please you of [other] women, two or three or four. But if you fear that you will not be just, then [marry only] one or those your right hand possesses. That is more suitable that you may not incline [to injustice].

And give the women [upon marriage] their [bridal] gifts graciously. But if they give up willingly to you anything of it, then take it in satisfaction and ease.

And some among them believed in it, and some among them were averse to it. And sufficient is Hell as a blaze.
اِنَّ الَّذِيۡنَ كَفَرُوۡا بِاٰيٰتِنَا سَوۡفَ نُصۡلِيۡهِمۡ نَارًاؕ كُلَّمَا نَضِجَتۡ جُلُوۡدُهُمۡ بَدَّلۡنٰهُمۡ جُلُوۡدًا غَيۡرَهَا لِيَذُوۡقُوۡا الۡعَذَابَؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ كَانَ عَزِيۡزًا حَكِيۡمًا
— Transliteration
Inna allatheena kafaroo bi-ayatinasawfa nusleehim naran kullama nadijatjulooduhum baddalnahum juloodan ghayraha liyathooqooalAAathaba inna Allaha kana AAazeezan hakeema

بیشک جن لوگوں نے ہماری آیتوں سے کفر کیا ہم عنقریب انہیں (دوزخ کی) آگ میں جھونک دیں گے، جب ان کی کھالیں جل جائیں گی تو ہم انہیں دوسری کھالیں بدل دیں گے تاکہ وہ (مسلسل) عذاب (کا مزہ) چکھتے رہیں، بیشک اللہ غالب حکمت والا ہے

Indeed, those who disbelieve in Our verses - We will drive them into a Fire. Every time their skins are roasted through We will replace them with other skins so they may taste the punishment. Indeed, Allah is ever Exalted in Might and Wise.
وَالَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ سَنُدۡخِلُهُمۡ جَنّٰتٍ تَجۡرِىۡ مِنۡ تَحۡتِهَا الۡاَنۡهٰرُ خٰلِدِيۡنَ فِيۡهَاۤ اَبَدًاؕ لَّهُمۡ فِيۡهَاۤ اَزۡوٰجٌ مُّطَهَّرَةٌ وَّنُدۡخِلُهُمۡ ظِلاًّ ظَلِيۡلاً
— Transliteration
Wallatheena amanoowaAAamiloo assalihati sanudkhiluhum jannatintajree min tahtiha al-anharu khalideenafeeha abadan lahum feeha azwajun mutahharatunwanudkhiluhum thillan thaleela

اور جو لوگ ایمان لائے اور نیک عمل کرتے رہے تو ہم انہیں بہشتوں میں داخل کریں گے جن کے نیچے نہریں رواں ہیں وہ ان میں ہمیشہ رہیں گے، ان کے لئے وہاں پاکیزہ بیویاں ہوں گی اور ہم ان کو بہت گھنے سائے میں داخل کریں گے

But those who believe and do righteous deeds - We will admit them to gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide forever. For them therein are purified spouses, and We will admit them to deepening shade.

Wama arsalna min rasoolin illaliyutaAAa bi-ithni Allahi walaw annahum iththalamoo anfusahum jaooka fastaghfarooAllaha wastaghfara lahumu arrasoolulawajadoo Allaha tawwaban raheema

اور ہم نے کوئی پیغمبر نہیں بھیجا مگر اس لئے کہ اللہ کے حکم سے اس کی اطاعت کی جائے، اور (اے حبیب!) اگر وہ لوگ جب اپنی جانوں پر ظلم کر بیٹھے تھے آپ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہو جاتے اوراللہ سے معافی مانگتے اور رسول(صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) بھی ان کے لئے مغفرت طلب کرتے تو وہ (اس وسیلہ اور شفاعت کی بنا پر) ضرور اللہ کو توبہ قبول فرمانے والا نہایت مہربان پاتے

And We did not send any messenger except to be obeyed by permission of Allah. And if, when they wronged themselves, they had come to you, [O Muhammad], and asked forgiveness of Allah and the Messenger had asked forgiveness for them, they would have found Allah Accepting of repentance and Merciful.
فَلَا وَرَبِّكَ لَا يُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ حَتّٰى يُحَكِّمُوۡكَ فِيۡمَا شَجَرَ بَيۡنَهُمۡ ثُمَّ لَا يَجِدُوۡا فِىۡۤ اَنۡفُسِهِمۡ حَرَجًا مِّمَّا قَضَيۡتَ وَيُسَلِّمُوۡا تَسۡلِيۡمًا
— Transliteration
Fala warabbika la yu/minoona hattayuhakkimooka feema shajara baynahum thumma layajidoo fee anfusihim harajan mimma qadaytawayusallimoo tasleema

پس (اے حبیب!) آپ کے رب کی قسم یہ لوگ مسلمان نہیں ہوسکتے یہاں تک کہ وہ اپنے درمیان واقع ہونے والے ہر اختلاف میں آپ کو حاکم بنالیں پھر اس فیصلہ سے جو آپ صادر فرما دیں اپنے دلوں میں کوئی تنگی نہ پائیں اور (آپ کے حکم کو) بخوشی پوری فرمانبرداری کے ساتھ قبول کر لیں

But no, by your Lord, they will not [truly] believe until they make you, [O Muhammad], judge concerning that over which they dispute among themselves and then find within themselves no discomfort from what you have judged and submit in [full, willing] submission.
وَلَوۡ اَنَّا كَتَبۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ اَنِ اقۡتُلُوۡۤا اَنۡفُسَكُمۡ اَوِ اخۡرُجُوۡا مِنۡ دِيَارِكُمۡ مَّا فَعَلُوۡهُ اِلَّا قَلِيۡلٌ مِّنۡهُمۡؕ وَلَوۡ اَنَّهُمۡ فَعَلُوۡا مَا يُوۡعَظُوۡنَ بِهٖ لَـكَانَ خَيۡرًا لَّهُمۡ وَاَشَدَّ تَثۡبِيۡتًاۙ
— Transliteration
Walaw anna katabna AAalayhimani oqtuloo anfusakum awi okhrujoo min diyarikum mafaAAaloohu illa qaleelun minhum walaw annahum faAAaloo mayooAAathoona bihi lakana khayran lahumwaashadda tathbeeta

اور اگر ہم ان پر فرض کر دیتے کہ تم اپنے آپ کو قتل کر ڈالو یا اپنے گھروں کو چھوڑ کر نکل جاؤ تو ان میں سے بہت تھوڑے لوگ اس پر عمل کرتے، اورانہیں جو نصیحت کی جاتی ہے اگر وہ اس پر عمل پیرا ہو جاتے تویہ ان کے حق میں بہتر ہوتا اور (ایمان پر) بہت زیادہ ثابت قدم رکھنے والا ہوتا

And if We had decreed upon them, "Kill yourselves" or "Leave your homes," they would not have done it, except for a few of them. But if they had done what they were instructed, it would have been better for them and a firmer position [for them in faith].

وَمَنۡ لَّمۡ يَسۡتَطِعۡ مِنۡكُمۡ طَوۡلاً اَنۡ يَّنۡكِحَ الۡمُحۡصَنٰتِ الۡمُؤۡمِنٰتِ فَمِنۡ مَّا مَلَكَتۡ اَيۡمَانُكُمۡ مِّنۡ فَتَيٰتِكُمُ الۡمُؤۡمِنٰتِؕ وَاللّٰهُ اَعۡلَمُ بِاِيۡمَانِكُمۡؕ بَعۡضُكُمۡ مِّنۡۢ بَعۡضٍۚ فَانكِحُوۡهُنَّ بِاِذۡنِ اَهۡلِهِنَّ وَاٰتُوۡهُنَّ اُجُوۡرَهُنَّ بِالۡمَعۡرُوۡفِ مُحۡصَنٰتٍ غَيۡرَ مُسٰفِحٰتٍ وَّلَا مُتَّخِذٰتِ اَخۡدَانٍؕ فَاِذَاۤ اُحۡصِنَّ فَاِنۡ اَتَيۡنَ بِفَاحِشَةٍ فَعَلَيۡهِنَّ نِصۡفُ مَا عَلَى الۡمُحۡصَنٰتِ مِنَ الۡعَذَابِؕ ذٰلِكَ لِمَنۡ خَشِىَ الۡعَنَتَ مِنۡكُمۡؕ وَاَنۡ تَصۡبِرُوۡا خَيۡرٌ لَّكُمۡؕ وَاللّٰهُ غَفُوۡرٌ رَّحِيۡمٌ
— Transliteration
Waman lam yastatiAA minkum tawlanan yankiha almuhsanati almu/minatifamin ma malakat aymanukum min fatayatikumualmu/minati wallahu aAAlamu bi-eemanikumbaAAdukum min baAAdin fankihoohunnabi-ithni ahlihinna waatoohunna ojoorahunna bilmaAAroofimuhsanatin ghayra masafihatin walamuttakhithati akhdanin fa-itha ohsinnafa-in atayna bifahishatin faAAalayhinna nisfu maAAala almuhsanati mina alAAathabi thalikaliman khashiya alAAanata minkum waan tasbiroo khayrunlakum wallahu ghafoorun raheem

اور تم میں سے جو کوئی (اتنی) استطاعت نہ رکھتا ہو کہ آزاد مسلمان عورتوں سے نکاح کر سکے تو ان مسلمان کنیزوں سے نکاح کرلے جو (شرعاً) تمہاری ملکیت میں ہیں، اور اللہ تمہارے ایمان (کی کیفیت) کو خوب جانتا ہے، تم (سب) ایک دوسرے کی جنس میں سے ہی ہو، پس ان (کنیزوں) سے ان کے مالکوں کی اجازت کے ساتھ نکاح کرو اور انہیں ان کے مَہر حسبِ دستور ادا کرو درآنحالیکہ وہ (عفت قائم رکھتے ہوئے) قیدِ نکاح میں آنے والی ہوں نہ بدکاری کرنے والی ہوں اور نہ درپردہ آشنائی کرنے والی ہوں، پس جب وہ نکاح کے حصار میں آجائیں پھر اگر بدکاری کی مرتکب ہوں تو ان پر اس سزا کی آدھی سزا لازم ہے جو آزاد (کنواری) عورتوں کے لئے (مقرر) ہے، یہ اجازت اس شخص کے لئے ہے جسے تم میں سے گناہ (کے ارتکاب) کا اندیشہ ہو، اور اگر تم صبر کرو تو (یہ) تمہارے حق میں بہتر ہے، اور اللہ بخشنے والا مہر بان ہے

And whoever among you cannot [find] the means to marry free, believing women, then [he may marry] from those whom your right hands possess of believing slave girls. And Allah is most knowing about your faith. You [believers] are of one another. So marry them with the permission of their people and give them their due compensation according to what is acceptable. [They should be] chaste, neither [of] those who commit unlawful intercourse randomly nor those who take [secret] lovers. But once they are sheltered in marriage, if they should commit adultery, then for them is half the punishment for free [unmarried] women. This [allowance] is for him among you who fears sin, but to be patient is better for you. And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

And if you fear dissension between the two, send an arbitrator from his people and an arbitrator from her people. If they both desire reconciliation, Allah will cause it between them. Indeed, Allah is ever Knowing and Acquainted [with all things].

اور اگر کوئی عورت اپنے شوہر کی جانب سے زیادتی یا بے رغبتی کا خوف رکھتی ہو تو دونوں (میاں بیوی) پر کوئی حرج نہیں کہ وہ آپس میں کسی مناسب بات پر صلح کر لیں، اور صلح (حقیقت میں) اچھی چیز ہے اور طبیعتوں میں (تھوڑا بہت) بخل (ضرور) رکھ دیا گیا ہے، اور اگر تم احسان کرو اور پرہیزگاری اختیار کرو تو بیشک اللہ ان کاموں سے جو تم کر رہے ہو (اچھی طرح) خبردار ہےo

And if a woman fears from her husband contempt or evasion, there is no sin upon them if they make terms of settlement between them - and settlement is best. And present in [human] souls is stinginess. But if you do good and fear Allah - then indeed Allah is ever, with what you do, Acquainted.

And you will never be able to be equal [in feeling] between wives, even if you should strive [to do so]. So do not incline completely [toward one] and leave another hanging. And if you amend [your affairs] and fear Allah - then indeed, Allah is ever Forgiving and Merciful.

Alyawma ohilla lakumu attayyibatuwataAAamu allatheena ootoo alkitaba hillunlakum wataAAamukum hillun lahum walmuhsanatumina almu/minati walmuhsanatu minaallatheena ootoo alkitaba min qablikum itha ataytumoohunnaojoorahunna muhsineena ghayra musafiheenawala muttakhithee akhdanin waman yakfur bil-eemanifaqad habita AAamaluhu wahuwa fee al-akhiratimina alkhasireen

This day [all] good foods have been made lawful, and the food of those who were given the Scripture is lawful for you and your food is lawful for them. And [lawful in marriage are] chaste women from among the believers and chaste women from among those who were given the Scripture before you, when you have given them their due compensation, desiring chastity, not unlawful sexual intercourse or taking [secret] lovers. And whoever denies the faith - his work has become worthless, and he, in the Hereafter, will be among the losers.

The [unmarried] woman or [unmarried] man found guilty of sexual intercourse - lash each one of them with a hundred lashes, and do not be taken by pity for them in the religion of Allah, if you should believe in Allah and the Last Day. And let a group of the believers witness their punishment.

— Transliteration
Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoola tattabiAAoo khutuwati ashshaytaniwaman yattabiAA khutuwati ashshaytanifa-innahu ya/muru bilfahsha-i walmunkariwalawla fadlu Allahi AAalaykum warahmatuhuma zaka minkum min ahadin abadan walakinnaAllaha yuzakkee man yashao wallahusameeAAun AAaleem

اے ایمان والو! شیطان کے راستوں پر نہ چلو، اور جو شخص شیطان کے نقوشِ قدم پر چلتا ہے تو وہ یقیناً بے حیائی اور برے کاموں (کے فروغ) کا حکم دیتا ہے، اور اگر تم پر اللہ کا فضل اور اس کی رحمت نہ ہوتی تو تم میں سے کوئی شخص بھی کبھی (اس گناہِ تہمت کے داغ سے) پاک نہ ہو سکتا لیکن اللہ جسے چاہتا ہے پاک فرما دیتا ہے، اور اللہ خوب سننے والا جاننے والا ہے

O you who have believed, do not follow the footsteps of Satan. And whoever follows the footsteps of Satan - indeed, he enjoins immorality and wrongdoing. And if not for the favor of Allah upon you and His mercy, not one of you would have been pure, ever, but Allah purifies whom He wills, and Allah is Hearing and Knowing.
وَلَا يَاۡتَلِ اُولُوا الۡـفَضۡلِ مِنۡكُمۡ وَالسَّعَةِ اَنۡ يُّؤۡتُوۡۤا اُولِىۡ الۡقُرۡبٰى وَالۡمَسٰكِيۡنَ وَالۡمُهٰجِرِيۡنَ فِىۡ سَبِيۡلِ اللّٰهِۖ وَلۡيَـعۡفُوۡا وَلۡيَـصۡفَحُوۡاؕ اَلَا تُحِبُّوۡنَ اَنۡ يَّغۡفِرَ اللّٰهُ لَـكُمۡؕ وَاللّٰهُ غَفُوۡرٌ رَّحِيۡمٌ
— Transliteration
Wala ya/tali oloo alfadliminkum wassaAAati an yu/too olee alqurba walmasakeenawalmuhajireena fee sabeeli AllahiwalyaAAfoo walyasfahoo ala tuhibboonaan yaghfira Allahu lakum wallahu ghafoorunraheem

اور تم میں سے (دینی) بزرگی والے اور (دنیوی) کشائش والے (اب) اس بات کی قَسم نہ کھائیں کہ وہ (اس بہتان کے جرم میں شریک) رشتہ داروں اور محتاجوں اور اللہ کی راہ میں ہجرت کرنے والوں کو (مالی امداد نہ) دیں گے انہیں چاہئے کہ (ان کا قصور) معاف کر دیں اور (ان کی غلطی سے) درگزر کریں، کیا تم اس بات کو پسند نہیں کرتے کہ اللہ تمہیں بخش دے، اور اللہ بڑا بخشنے والا مہربان ہے

And let not those of virtue among you and wealth swear not to give [aid] to their relatives and the needy and the emigrants for the cause of Allah, and let them pardon and overlook. Would you not like that Allah should forgive you? And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.
اِنَّ الَّذِيۡنَ يَرۡمُوۡنَ الۡمُحۡصَنٰتِ الۡغٰفِلٰتِ الۡمُؤۡمِنٰتِ لُعِنُوۡا فِىۡ الدُّنۡيَا وَالۡاٰخِرَةِ وَلَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ عَظِيۡمٌۙ

Inna allatheena yarmoona almuhsanatialghafilati almu/minati luAAinoo fee addunyawal-akhirati walahum AAathabun AAatheem

Indeed, those who [falsely] accuse chaste, unaware and believing women are cursed in this world and the Hereafter; and they will have a great punishment
يَّوۡمَ تَشۡهَدُ عَلَيۡهِمۡ اَلۡسِنَـتُهُمۡ وَاَيۡدِيۡهِمۡ وَاَرۡجُلُهُمۡ بِمَا كَانُوۡا يَعۡمَلُوۡنَ

Waankihoo al-ayamaminkum wassaliheena min AAibadikumwa-ima-ikum in yakoonoo fuqaraa yughnihimu Allahumin fadlihi wallahu wasiAAun AAaleem

اور تم اپنے مردوں اور عورتوں میں سے ان کا نکاح کر دیا کرو جو (عمرِ نکاح کے باوجود) بغیر ازدواجی زندگی کے (رہ رہے) ہوں اور اپنے باصلاحیت غلاموں اور باندیوں کا بھی (نکاح کر دیا کرو)، اگر وہ محتاج ہوں گے (تو) اللہ اپنے فضل سے انہیں غنی کر دے گا، اور اللہ بڑی وسعت والا بڑے علم والا ہے

And marry the unmarried among you and the righteous among your male slaves and female slaves. If they should be poor, Allah will enrich them from His bounty, and Allah is all-Encompassing and Knowing.

وَلۡيَسۡتَعۡفِفِ الَّذِيۡنَ لَا يَجِدُوۡنَ نِكَاحًا حَتّٰى يُغۡنِيَهُمُ اللّٰهُ مِنۡ فَضۡلِهٖؕ وَالَّذِيۡنَ يَبۡتَغُوۡنَ الۡـكِتٰبَ مِمَّا مَلَـكَتۡ اَيۡمَانُكُمۡ فَكَاتِبُوۡهُمۡ اِنۡ عَلِمۡتُمۡ فِيۡهِمۡ خَيۡرًاۖ وَّاٰتُوۡهُمۡ مِّنۡ مَّالِ اللّٰهِ الَّذِىۡۤ اٰتٰٮكُمۡؕ وَلَا تُكۡرِهُوۡا فَتَيٰتِكُمۡ عَلَى الۡبِغَآءِ اِنۡ اَرَدۡنَ تَحَصُّنًا لِّـتَبۡتَغُوۡا عَرَضَ الۡحَيٰوةِ الدُّنۡيَاؕ وَمَنۡ يُّكۡرِهْهُّنَّ فَاِنَّ اللّٰهَ مِنۡۢ بَعۡدِ اِكۡرَاهِهِنَّ غَفُوۡرٌ رَّحِيۡمٌ
— Transliteration
WalyastaAAfifi allatheena layajidoona nikahan hatta yughniyahumu Allahumin fadlihi wallatheena yabtaghoona alkitabamimma malakat aymanukum fakatiboohum inAAalimtum feehim khayran waatoohum min mali Allahiallathee atakum wala tukrihoo fatayatikumAAala albigha-i in aradna tahassunanlitabtaghoo AAarada alhayati addunyawaman yukrihhunna fa-inna Allaha min baAAdi ikrahihinnaghafoorun raheem

اور ایسے لوگوں کو پاک دامنی اختیار کرنا چاہئے جو نکاح (کی استطاعت) نہیں پاتے یہاں تک کہ اللہ انہیں اپنے فضل سے غنی فرما دے، اور تمہارے زیردست (غلاموں اور باندیوں) میں سے جو مکاتب (کچھ مال کما کر دینے کی شرط پر آزاد) ہونا چاہیں تو انہیں مکاتب (مذکورہ شرط پر آزاد) کر دو اگر تم ان میں بھلائی جانتے ہو، اور تم (خود بھی) انہیں اللہ کے مال میں سے (آزاد ہونے کے لئے) دے دو جو اس نے تمہیں عطا فرمایا ہے، اور تم اپنی باندیوں کو دنیوی زندگی کا فائدہ حاصل کرنے کے لئے بدکاری پر مجبور نہ کرو جبکہ وہ پاک دامن (یا حفاطتِ نکاح میں) رہنا چاہتی ہیں، اور جو شخص انہیں مجبور کرے گا تو اللہ ان کے مجبور ہو جانے کے بعد (بھی) بڑا بخشنے والا مہربان ہے

But let them who find not [the means for] marriage abstain [from sexual relations] until Allah enriches them from His bounty. And those who seek a contract [for eventual emancipation] from among whom your right hands possess - then make a contract with them if you know there is within them goodness and give them from the wealth of Allah which He has given you. And do not compel your slave girls to prostitution, if they desire chastity, to seek [thereby] the temporary interests of worldly life. And if someone should compel them, then indeed, Allah is [to them], after their compulsion, Forgiving and Merciful.

And it is He who has created from water a human being and made him [a relative by] lineage and marriage. And ever is your Lord competent [concerning creation].

Wallatheena layadAAoona maAAa Allahi ilahan akharawala yaqtuloona annafsa allatee harrama Allahuilla bilhaqqi wala yaznoona wamanyafAAal thalika yalqa athama

اور (یہ) وہ لوگ ہیں جو اللہ کے ساتھ کسی دوسرے معبود کی پوجا نہیں کرتے اور نہ (ہی) کسی ایسی جان کو قتل کرتے ہیں جسے بغیرِ حق مارنا اللہ نے حرام فرمایا ہے اور نہ (ہی) بدکاری کرتے ہیں، اور جو شخص یہ کام کرے گا وہ سزائے گناہ پائے گاo

And those who do not invoke with Allah another deity or kill the soul which Allah has forbidden [to be killed], except by right, and do not commit unlawful sexual intercourse. And whoever should do that will meet a penalty.

Wamin ayatihi an khalaqa lakummin anfusikum azwajan litaskunoo ilayha wajaAAalabaynakum mawaddatan warahmatan inna fee thalika laayatinliqawmin yatafakkaroon

And of His signs is that He created for you from yourselves mates that you may find tranquillity in them; and He placed between you affection and mercy. Indeed in that are signs for a people who give thought.

Wa-ith taqoolu lillatheeanAAama Allahu AAalayhi waanAAamta AAalayhi amsik AAalaykazawjaka wattaqi Allaha watukhfee fee nafsika maAllahu mubdeehi watakhsha annasa wallahuahaqqu an takhshahu falamma qadazaydun minha wataran zawwajnakahalikay la yakoona AAala almu/mineena harajunfee azwaji adAAiya-ihim itha qadawminhunna wataran wakana amru Allahi mafAAoola

اور (اے حبیب!) یاد کیجئے جب آپ نے اس شخص سے فرمایا جس پر اللہ نے انعام فرمایا تھا اور اس پر آپ نے (بھی) اِنعام فرمایا تھا کہ تُو اپنی بیوی (زینب) کو اپنی زوجیت میں روکے رکھ اور اللہ سے ڈر، اور آپ اپنے دل میں وہ بات٭ پوشیدہ رکھ رہے تھے جِسے اللہ ظاہر فرمانے والا تھا اور آپ (دل میں حیاءً) لوگوں (کی طعنہ زنی) کا خوف رکھتے تھے۔ (اے حبیب! لوگوں کو خاطر میں لانے کی کوئی ضرورت نہ تھی) اور فقط اللہ ہی زیادہ حق دار ہے کہ آپ اس کا خوف رکھیں (اور وہ آپ سے بڑھ کر کس میں ہے؟)، پھر جب (آپ کے متبنٰی) زید نے اسے طلاق دینے کی غرض پوری کرلی، تو ہم نے اس سے آپ کا نکاح کر دیا تاکہ مومنوں پر ان کے منہ بولے بیٹوں کی بیویوں (کے ساتھ نکاح) کے بارے میں کوئی حَرج نہ رہے جبکہ (طلاق دے کر) وہ ان سے بے غَرض ہو گئے ہوں، اور اللہ کا حکم تو پورا کیا جانے والا ہی تھا
— English
And [remember, O Muhammad], when you said to the one on whom Allah bestowed favor and you bestowed favor, "Keep your wife and fear Allah," while you concealed within yourself that which Allah is to disclose. And you feared the people, while Allah has more right that you fear Him. So when Zayd had no longer any need for her, We married her to you in order that there not be upon the believers any discomfort concerning the wives of their adopted sons when they no longer have need of them. And ever is the command of Allah accomplished.

Rabbana waadkhilhum jannatiAAadnin allatee waAAadtahum waman salaha min aba-ihimwaazwajihim wathurriyyatihim innaka antaalAAazeezu alhakeem

Our Lord, and admit them to gardens of perpetual residence which You have promised them and whoever was righteous among their fathers, their spouses and their offspring. Indeed, it is You who is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.

Qad samiAAa Allahu qawla allatee tujadilukafee zawjiha watashtakee ila Allahi wallahuyasmaAAu tahawurakuma inna Allaha sameeAAunbaseer

Certainly has Allah heard the speech of the one who argues with you, [O Muhammad], concerning her husband and directs her complaint to Allah. And Allah hears your dialogue; indeed, Allah is Hearing and Seeing.

يٰۤاَيُّهَا الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡۤا اِذَا جَآءَكُمُ الۡمُؤۡمِنٰتُ مُهٰجِرٰتٍ فَامۡتَحِنُوۡهُنَّؕ اللّٰهُ اَعۡلَمُ بِاِيۡمَانِهِنَّۚ فَاِنۡ عَلِمۡتُمُوۡهُنَّ مُؤۡمِنٰتٍ فَلَا تَرۡجِعُوۡهُنَّ اِلَى الۡكُفَّارِؕ لَا هُنَّ حِلٌّ لَّهُمۡ وَلَا هُمۡ يَحِلُّوۡنَ لَهُنَّۚ وَاٰتُوۡهُمۡ مَّاۤ اَنۡفَقُوۡاؕ وَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيۡكُمۡ اَنۡ تَنۡكِحُوۡهُنَّ اِذَاۤ اٰتَيۡتُمُوۡهُنَّ اُجُوۡرَهُنَّؕ وَلَا تُمۡسِكُوۡا بِعِصَمِ الۡكَوَافِرِ وَسۡـَٔـلُوۡا مَاۤ اَنۡفَقۡتُمۡ وَلۡيَسۡـَٔـلُوۡا مَاۤ اَنۡفَقُوۡاؕ ذٰلِكُمۡ حُكۡمُ اللّٰهِؕ يَحۡكُمُ بَيۡنَكُمۡؕ وَاللّٰهُ عَلِيۡمٌ حَكِيۡمٌ
— Transliteration
Ya ayyuha allatheena amanooitha jaakumu almu/minatu muhajiratinfamtahinoohunna Allahu aAAlamu bi-eemanihinnafa-in AAalimtumoohunna mu/minatin falatarjiAAoohunna ila alkuffari la hunna hillunlahum wala hum yahilloona lahunna waatoohumma anfaqoo wala junaha AAalaykum an tankihoohunnaitha ataytumoohunna ojoorahunna walatumsikoo biAAisami alkawafiri was-aloo maanfaqtum walyas-aloo ma anfaqoo thalikum hukmuAllahi yahkumu baynakum wallahuAAaleemun hakeem

اے ایمان والو! جب تمہارے پاس مومن عورتیں ہجرت کر کے آئیں تو انہیں اچھی طرح جانچ لیا کرو، اللہ اُن کے ایمان (کی حقیقت) سے خوب آگاہ ہے، پھر اگر تمہیں اُن کے مومن ہونے کا یقین ہو جائے تو انہیں کافروں کی طرف واپس نہ بھیجو، نہ یہ (مومنات) اُن (کافروں) کے لئے حلال ہیں اور نہ وہ (کفّار) اِن (مومن عورتوں) کے لئے حلال ہیں، اور اُن (کافروں) نے جو (مال بصورتِ مَہر اِن پر) خرچ کیا ہو وہ اُن کو ادا کر دو، اور تم پر اس (بات) میں کوئی گناہ نہیں کہ تم اِن سے نکاح کر لو جبکہ تم اُن (عورتوں) کا مَہر انہیں ادا کر دو، اور (اے مسلمانو!) تم بھی کافر عورتوں کو (اپنے) عقدِ نکاح میں نہ روکے رکھو اور تم (کفّار سے) وہ (مال) طلب کر لو جو تم نے (اُن عورتوں پر بصورتِ مَہر) خرچ کیا تھا اور وہ (کفّار تم سے) وہ (مال) مانگ لیں جو انہوں نے (اِن عورتوں پر بصورتِ مَہر) خرچ کیا تھا، یہی اللہ کا حکم ہے، اور وہ تمہارے درمیان فیصلہ فرما رہا ہے، اور اللہ خوب جاننے والا بڑی حکمت والا ہےo

O you who have believed, when the believing women come to you as emigrants, examine them. Allah is most knowing as to their faith. And if you know them to be believers, then do not return them to the disbelievers; they are not lawful [wives] for them, nor are they lawful [husbands] for them. But give the disbelievers what they have spent. And there is no blame upon you if you marry them when you have given them their due compensation. And hold not to marriage bonds with disbelieving women, but ask for what you have spent and let them ask for what they have spent. That is the judgement of Allah; He judges between you. And Allah is Knowing and Wise.

وَاِنۡ فَاتَكُمۡ شَىۡءٌ مِّنۡ اَزۡوَاجِكُمۡ اِلَى الۡكُفَّارِ فَعَاقَبۡتُمۡ فَاٰتُوۡا الَّذِيۡنَ ذَهَبَتۡ اَزۡوَاجُهُمۡ مِّثۡلَ مَاۤ اَنۡفَقُوۡاؕ وَاتَّقُوۡا اللّٰهَ الَّذِىۡۤ اَنۡتُمۡ بِهٖ مُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ
— Transliteration
Wa-in fatakum shay-on min azwajikumila alkuffari faAAaqabtum faatoo allatheenathahabat azwajuhum mithla ma anfaqoo wattaqooAllaha allathee antum bihi mu/minoon

اور اگر تمہاری بیویوں میں سے کوئی تم سے چھوٹ کر کافروں کی طرف چلی جائے پھر (جب) تم جنگ میں غالب آجاؤ اور مالِ غنیمت پاؤ تو (اس میں سے) ان لوگوں کو جن کی عورتیں چلی گئی تھیں اس قدر (مال) ادا کر دو جتنا وہ (اُن کے مَہر میں)خرچ کر چکے تھے، اور اُس اللہ سے ڈرتے رہو جس پر تم ایمان رکھتے ہوo

And if you have lost any of your wives to the disbelievers and you subsequently obtain [something], then give those whose wives have gone the equivalent of what they had spent. And fear Allah, in whom you are believers.
