— Transliteration
Ith qalati almala-ikatuya maryamu inna Allaha yubashshiruki bikalimatinminhu ismuhu almaseehu AAeesa ibnu maryama wajeehanfee addunya wal-akhirati waminaalmuqarrabeen

جب فرشتوں نے کہا: اے مریم! بیشک اﷲ تمہیں اپنے پاس سے ایک کلمۂ (خاص) کی بشارت دیتا ہے جس کا نام مسیح عیسٰی بن مریم (علیھما السلام) ہوگا وہ دنیا اور آخرت (دونوں) میں قدر و منزلت والا ہو گا اور اﷲ کے خاص قربت یافتہ بندوں میں سے ہوگا

لَـقَدۡ كَفَرَ الَّذِيۡنَ قَالُوۡۤا اِنَّ اللّٰهَ هُوَ الۡمَسِيۡحُ ابۡنُ مَرۡيَمَؕ قُلۡ فَمَنۡ يَّمۡلِكُ مِنَ اللّٰهِ شَيْئًا اِنۡ اَرَادَ اَنۡ يُّهۡلِكَ الۡمَسِيۡحَ ابۡنَ مَرۡيَمَ وَاُمَّهٗ وَمَنۡ فِىۡ الۡاَرۡضِ جَمِيۡعًاؕ وَلِلّٰهِ مُلۡكُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضِ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَاؕ يَخۡلُقُ مَا يَشَآءُؕ وَاللّٰهُ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَىۡءٍ قَدِيۡرٌ

Laqad kafara allatheena qalooinna Allaha huwa almaseehu ibnu maryama qul famanyamliku mina Allahi shay-an in arada an yuhlikaalmaseeha ibna maryama waommahu waman fee al-ardijameeAAan walillahi mulku assamawatiwal-ardi wama baynahuma yakhluqu mayashao wallahu AAala kulli shay-inqadeer

بیشک ان لوگوں نے کفر کیا جو کہتے ہیں کہ یقیناً اﷲ مسیح ابن مریم ہی (تو) ہے، آپ فرما دیں: پھر کون (ایسا شخص) ہے جو اﷲ (کی مشیت میں) سے کسی شے کا مالک ہو؟ اگر وہ اس بات کا ارادہ فرمالے کہ مسیح ابن مریم اور اس کی ماں اور سب زمین والوں کو ہلاک فرما دے گا (تو اس کے فیصلے کے خلاف انہیں کون بچا سکتا ہے؟) اور آسمانوں اور زمین اور جو (کائنات) ان دونوں کے درمیان ہے (سب) کی بادشاہی اﷲ ہی کے لئے ہے، وہ جو چاہتا ہے پیدا فرماتا ہے، اور اﷲ ہر چیز پر بڑا قادر ہے

They have certainly disbelieved who say that Allah is Christ, the son of Mary. Say, "Then who could prevent Allah at all if He had intended to destroy Christ, the son of Mary, or his mother or everyone on the earth?" And to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them. He creates what He wills, and Allah is over all things competent.

درحقیقت ایسے لوگ کافر ہوگئے ہیں جنہوں نے کہا کہ اﷲ ہی مسیح ابنِ مریم (علیہما السلام) ہے حالانکہ مسیح (علیہ السلام) نے (تو یہ) کہا تھا: اے بنی اسرائیل! تم اللہ کی عبادت کرو جو میرا (بھی) ربّ ہے اور تمہارا (بھی) ربّ ہے۔ بیشک جو اللہ کے ساتھ شرک کرے گا تو یقیناً اﷲ نے اس پر جنت حرام فرما دی ہے اور اس کا ٹھکانا دوزخ ہے، اور ظالموں کے لئے کوئی بھی مدد گار نہ ہوگا

They have certainly disbelieved who say, "Allah is the Messiah, the son of Mary" while the Messiah has said, "O Children of Israel, worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord." Indeed, he who associates others with Allah - Allah has forbidden him Paradise, and his refuge is the Fire. And there are not for the wrongdoers any helpers.

Ma almaseehu ibnu maryama illarasoolun qad khalat min qablihi arrusulu waommuhu siddeeqatunkana ya/kulani attaAAamaonthur kayfa nubayyinu lahumu al-ayatithumma onthur anna yu/fakoon

مسیح ابنِ مریم (علیھما السلام) رسول کے سوا (کچھ) نہیں ہیں (یعنی خدا یا خدا کا بیٹا اور شریک نہیں ہیں)، یقیناً ان سے پہلے (بھی) بہت سے رسول گزر چکے ہیں، اور ان کی والدہ بڑی صاحبِ صدق (ولیّہ) تھیں، وہ دونوں (مخلوق تھے کیونکہ) کھانا بھی کھایا کرتے تھے۔ (اے حبیب!) دیکھئے ہم ان (کی رہنمائی) کے لئے کس طرح آیتوں کو وضاحت سے بیان کرتے ہیں پھر ملاحظہ فرمائیے کہ (اس کے باوجود) وہ کس طرح (حق سے) پھرے جارہے ہیں

The Messiah, son of Mary, was not but a messenger; [other] messengers have passed on before him. And his mother was a supporter of truth. They both used to eat food. Look how We make clear to them the signs; then look how they are deluded.

وَلَوۡ اَنَّهُمۡ رَضُوۡا مَاۤ اٰتٰٮهُمُ اللّٰهُ وَرَسُوۡلُهٗۙ وَقَالُوۡا حَسۡبُنَا اللّٰهُ سَيُؤۡتِيۡنَا اللّٰهُ مِنۡ فَضۡلِهٖ وَرَسُوۡلُهٗۙ اِنَّاۤ اِلَى اللّٰهِ رٰغِبُوۡنَ
— Transliteration
Walaw annahum radoo ma atahumuAllahu warasooluhu waqaloo hasbunaAllahu sayu/teena Allahu min fadlihiwarasooluhu inna ila Allahi raghiboon

اور کیا ہی اچھا ہوتا اگر وہ لوگ اس پر راضی ہو جاتے جو ان کو اللہ اور اس کے رسول (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے عطا فرمایا تھا اور کہتے کہ ہمیں اللہ کافی ہے۔ عنقریب ہمیں اللہ اپنے فضل سے اور اس کا رسول (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم مزید) عطا فرمائے گا۔ بیشک ہم اللہ ہی کی طرف راغب ہیں (اور رسول صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم اسی کا واسطہ اور وسیلہ ہے، اس کا دینا بھی اللہ ہی کا دینا ہے۔ اگر یہ عقیدہ رکھتے اور طعنہ زنی نہ کرتے تو یہ بہتر ہوتا

If only they had been satisfied with what Allah and His Messenger gave them and said, "Sufficient for us is Allah; Allah will give us of His bounty, and [so will] His Messenger; indeed, we are desirous toward Allah," [it would have been better for them].
اِنَّمَا الصَّدَقٰتُ لِلۡفُقَرَآءِ وَالۡمَسٰكِيۡنِ وَالۡعٰمِلِيۡنَ عَلَيۡهَا وَالۡمُؤَلَّـفَةِ قُلُوۡبُهُمۡ وَفِى الرِّقَابِ وَالۡغٰرِمِيۡنَ وَفِىۡ سَبِيۡلِ اللّٰهِ وَابۡنِ السَّبِيۡلِؕ فَرِيۡضَةً مِّنَ اللّٰهِؕ وَاللّٰهُ عَلِيۡمٌ حَكِيۡمٌ
— Transliteration
Innama assadaqatulilfuqara-i walmasakeeni walAAamileenaAAalayha walmu-allafati quloobuhum wafee arriqabiwalgharimeena wafee sabeeli Allahi wabniassabeeli fareedatan mina Allahi wallahuAAaleemun hakeemun

بیشک صدقات (زکوٰۃ) محض غریبوں اور محتاجوں اور ان کی وصولی پر مقرر کئے گئے کارکنوں اور ایسے لوگوں کے لئے ہیں جن کے دلوں میں اسلام کی الفت پیدا کرنا مقصود ہو اور (مزید یہ کہ) انسانی گردنوں کو (غلامی کی زندگی سے) آزاد کرانے میں اور قرض داروں کے بوجھ اتارنے میں اور اللہ کی راہ میں اور مسافروں پر (زکوٰۃ کا خرچ کیا جانا حق ہے)۔ یہ (سب) اللہ کی طرف سے فرض کیا گیا ہے، اور اللہ خوب جاننے والا بڑی حکمت والا ہے

Zakah expenditures are only for the poor and for the needy and for those employed to collect [zakah] and for bringing hearts together [for Islam] and for freeing captives [or slaves] and for those in debt and for the cause of Allah and for the [stranded] traveler - an obligation [imposed] by Allah. And Allah is Knowing and Wise.
