Fastajaba lahum rabbuhumannee la odeeAAu AAamala AAamilin minkum minthakarin aw ontha baAAdukum min baAAdinfallatheena hajaroo waokhrijoo min diyarihimwaoothoo fee sabeelee waqataloo waqutiloolaokaffiranna AAanhum sayyi-atihim walaodkhilannahum jannatintajree min tahtiha al-anharu thawabanmin AAindi Allahi wallahu AAindahu husnuaththawab

پھر ان کے رب نے ان کی دعا قبول فرما لی (اور فرمایا:) یقیناً میں تم میں سے کسی محنت والے کی مزدوری ضائع نہیں کرتا خواہ مرد ہو یا عورت، تم سب ایک دوسرے میں سے (ہی) ہو، پس جن لوگوں نے (اللہ کے لئے) وطن چھوڑ دیئے اور (اسی کے باعث) اپنے گھروں سے نکال دیئے گئے اور میری راہ میں ستائے گئے اور (میری خاطر) لڑے اور مارے گئے تو میں ضرور ان کے گناہ ان (کے نامۂ اعمال) سے مٹا دوں گا اور انہیں یقیناً ان جنتوں میں داخل کروں گا جن کے نیچے نہریں بہتی ہوں گی، یہ اللہ کے حضور سے اجر ہے، اور اللہ ہی کے پاس (اس سے بھی) بہتر اجر ہے

And their Lord responded to them, "Never will I allow to be lost the work of [any] worker among you, whether male or female; you are of one another. So those who emigrated or were evicted from their homes or were harmed in My cause or fought or were killed - I will surely remove from them their misdeeds, and I will surely admit them to gardens beneath which rivers flow as reward from Allah, and Allah has with Him the best reward."

وہ (منافق تو) یہ تمنا کرتے ہیں کہ تم بھی کفر کروجیسے انہوں نے کفر کیا تاکہ تم سب برابر ہو جاؤ۔ سو تم ان میں سے (کسی کو) دوست نہ بناؤ یہاں تک کہ وہ اللہ کی راہ میں ہجرت (کر کے اپنا ایمان اور اخلاص ثابت) کریں، پھر اگر وہ روگردانی کریں تو انہیں پکڑ لو اور جہاں بھی پاؤ انہیں قتل کر ڈالو اور ان میں سے (کسی کو) دوست نہ بناؤ اور نہ مددگار

They wish you would disbelieve as they disbelieved so you would be alike. So do not take from among them allies until they emigrate for the cause of Allah. But if they turn away, then seize them and kill them wherever you find them and take not from among them any ally or helper.

بیشک جن لوگوں کی روح فرشتے اس حال میں قبض کرتے ہیں کہ وہ (اسلام دشمن ماحول میں رہ کر) اپنی جانوں پر ظلم کرنے والے ہیں (تو) وہ ان سے دریافت کرتے ہیں کہ تم کس حال میں تھے (تم نے اِقامتِ دین کی جد و جہد کی نہ سرزمینِ کُفر کو چھوڑا)؟ وہ (معذرۃً) کہتے ہیں کہ ہم زمین میں کمزور و بے بس تھے، فرشتے (جواباً) کہتے ہیں: کیا اللہ کی زمین فراخ نہ تھی کہ تم اس میں (کہیں) ہجرت کر جاتے، سو یہی وہ لوگ ہیں جن کا ٹھکانا جہنم ہے، اور وہ بہت ہی برا ٹھکانا ہے

Indeed, those whom the angels take [in death] while wronging themselves - [the angels] will say, "In what [condition] were you?" They will say, "We were oppressed in the land." The angels will say, "Was not the earth of Allah spacious [enough] for you to emigrate therein?" For those, their refuge is Hell - and evil it is as a destination.

اور جو کوئی اللہ کی راہ میں گھر بار چھوڑ کرنکلے وہ زمین میں (ہجرت کے لئے) بہت سی جگہیں اور (معاش کے لئے) کشائش پائے گا، اور جو شخص بھی اپنے گھر سے اللہ اور اس کے رسول (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی طرف ہجرت کرتے ہوئے نکلے پھر اسے (راستے میں ہی) موت آپکڑے تو اس کا اجر اللہ کے ذمے ثابت ہو گیا، اور اللہ بڑا بخشنے والا مہربان ہے

And whoever emigrates for the cause of Allah will find on the earth many [alternative] locations and abundance. And whoever leaves his home as an emigrant to Allah and His Messenger and then death overtakes him - his reward has already become incumbent upon Allah. And Allah is ever Forgiving and Merciful.

Inna allatheena amanoo wahajaroowajahadoo bi-amwalihim waanfusihim fee sabeeli Allahiwallatheena awaw wanasaroo ola-ikabaAAduhum awliyao baAAdin wallatheenaamanoo walam yuhajiroo ma lakum min walayatihimmin shay-in hatta yuhajiroo wa-ini istansarookumfee addeeni faAAalaykumu annasru illaAAala qawmin baynakum wabaynahum meethaqun wallahubima taAAmaloona baseer

بیشک جو لوگ ایمان لائے اور انہوں نے (اللہ کے لئے) وطن چھوڑ دیئے اور اپنے مالوں اور اپنی جانوں سے اللہ کی راہ میں جہاد کیا اور جن لوگوں نے (مہاجرین کو) جگہ دی اور (ان کی) مدد کی وہی لوگ ایک دوسرے کے حقیقی دوست ہیں، اور جو لوگ ایمان لائے (مگر) انہوں نے (اللہ کے لئے) گھر بار نہ چھوڑے تو تمہیں ان کی دوستی سے کوئی سروکار نہیں یہاں تک کہ وہ ہجرت کریں اور اگر وہ دین (کے معاملات) میں تم سے مدد چاہیں تو تم پر (ان کی) مدد کرنا واجب ہے مگر اس قوم کے مقابلہ میں (مدد نہ کرنا) کہ تمہارے اور ان کے درمیان (صلح و امن کا) معاہدہ ہو، اور اللہ ان کاموں کو جو تم کر رہے ہو خوب دیکھنے والا ہے

Indeed, those who have believed and emigrated and fought with their wealth and lives in the cause of Allah and those who gave shelter and aided - they are allies of one another. But those who believed and did not emigrate - for you there is no guardianship of them until they emigrate. And if they seek help of you for the religion, then you must help, except against a people between yourselves and whom is a treaty. And Allah is Seeing of what you do.

اور جن لوگوں نے اﷲ کی راہ میں (وطن سے) ہجرت کی پھر قتل کر دیئے گئے یا (راہِ حق کی مصیبتیں جھیلتے جھیلتے) مرگئے تو اﷲ انہیں ضرور رزقِ حسن (یعنی اُخروی عطاؤں) کی روزی بخشے گا، اور بیشک اﷲ سب سے بہتر رزق دینے والا ہے

اور تم میں سے (دینی) بزرگی والے اور (دنیوی) کشائش والے (اب) اس بات کی قَسم نہ کھائیں کہ وہ (اس بہتان کے جرم میں شریک) رشتہ داروں اور محتاجوں اور اللہ کی راہ میں ہجرت کرنے والوں کو (مالی امداد نہ) دیں گے انہیں چاہئے کہ (ان کا قصور) معاف کر دیں اور (ان کی غلطی سے) درگزر کریں، کیا تم اس بات کو پسند نہیں کرتے کہ اللہ تمہیں بخش دے، اور اللہ بڑا بخشنے والا مہربان ہے

And let not those of virtue among you and wealth swear not to give [aid] to their relatives and the needy and the emigrants for the cause of Allah, and let them pardon and overlook. Would you not like that Allah should forgive you? And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

يٰۤاَيُّهَا النَّبِىُّ اِنَّاۤ اَحۡلَلۡنَا لَـكَ اَزۡوَاجَكَ الّٰتِىۡۤ اٰتَيۡتَ اُجُوۡرَهُنَّ وَمَا مَلَـكَتۡ يَمِيۡنُكَ مِمَّاۤ اَفَآءَ اللّٰهُ عَلَيۡكَ وَبَنٰتِ عَمِّكَ وَبَنٰتِ عَمّٰتِكَ وَبَنٰتِ خَالِكَ وَبَنٰتِ خٰلٰتِكَ الّٰتِىۡ هَاجَرۡنَ مَعَكَ وَامۡرَاَةً مُّؤۡمِنَةً اِنۡ وَّهَبَتۡ نَفۡسَهَا لِلنَّبِىِّ اِنۡ اَرَادَ النَّبِىُّ اَنۡ يَّسۡتَـنۡكِحَهَا خَالِصَةً لَّـكَ مِنۡ دُوۡنِ الۡمُؤۡمِنِيۡنَ ؕ قَدۡ عَلِمۡنَا مَا فَرَضۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ فِىۡۤ اَزۡوَاجِهِمۡ وَمَا مَلَـكَتۡ اَيۡمَانُهُمۡ لِكَيۡلَا يَكُوۡنَ عَلَيۡكَ حَرَجٌ ؕ وَكَانَ اللّٰهُ غَفُوۡرًا رَّحِيۡمًا
— Transliteration
Ya ayyuha annabiyyuinna ahlalna laka azwajaka allateeatayta ojoorahunna wama malakat yameenuka mimmaafaa Allahu AAalayka wabanati AAammika wabanatiAAammatika wabanati khalika wabanatikhalatika allatee hajarna maAAaka wamraatanmu/minatan in wahabat nafsaha linnabiyyi in aradaannabiyyu an yastankihaha khalisatanlaka min dooni almu/mineena qad AAalimna ma faradnaAAalayhim fee azwajihim wama malakat aymanuhumlikayla yakoona AAalayka harajun wakana Allahughafooran raheema

اے نبی! بیشک ہم نے آپ کے لئے آپ کی وہ بیویاں حلال فرما دی ہیں جن کا مہَر آپ نے ادا فرما دیا ہے اور جو (احکامِ الٰہی کے مطابق) آپ کی مملوک ہیں، جو اللہ نے آپ کو مالِ غنیمت میں عطا فرمائی ہیں، اور آپ کے چچا کی بیٹیاں، اور آپ کی پھوپھیوں کی بیٹیاں، اور آپ کے ماموں کی بیٹیاں، اور آپ کی خالاؤں کی بیٹیاں، جنہوں نے آپ کے ساتھ ہجرت کی ہے اور کوئی بھی مؤمنہ عورت بشرطیکہ وہ اپنے آپ کو نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے نکاح) کے لئے دے دے اور نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم بھی) اسے اپنے نکاح میں لینے کا ارادہ فرمائیں (تو یہ سب آپ کے لئے حلال ہیں)، (یہ حکم) صرف آپ کے لئے خاص ہے (امّت کے) مومنوں کے لئے نہیں، واقعی ہمیں معلوم ہے جو کچھ ہم نے اُن (مسلمانوں) پر اُن کی بیویوں اور ان کی مملوکہ باندیوں کے بارے میں فرض کیا ہے، (مگر آپ کے حق میں تعدّدِ ازواج کی حِلّت کا خصوصی حکم اِس لئے ہے) تاکہ آپ پر (امتّ میں تعلیم و تربیتِ نسواں کے وسیع انتظام میں) کوئی تنگی نہ رہے، اور اللہ بڑا بخشنے والا بڑا رحم فرمانے والا ہے
— English
O Prophet, indeed We have made lawful to you your wives to whom you have given their due compensation and those your right hand possesses from what Allah has returned to you [of captives] and the daughters of your paternal uncles and the daughters of your paternal aunts and the daughters of your maternal uncles and the daughters of your maternal aunts who emigrated with you and a believing woman if she gives herself to the Prophet [and] if the Prophet wishes to marry her, [this is] only for you, excluding the [other] believers. We certainly know what We have made obligatory upon them concerning their wives and those their right hands possess, [but this is for you] in order that there will be upon you no discomfort. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful.

وَالَّذِيۡنَ تَبَوَّؤُ الدَّارَ وَالۡاِيۡمَانَ مِنۡ قَبۡلِهِمۡ يُحِبُّوۡنَ مَنۡ هَاجَرَ اِلَيۡهِمۡ وَلَا يَجِدُوۡنَ فِىۡ صُدُوۡرِهِمۡ حَاجَةً مِّمَّاۤ اُوۡتُوۡا وَيُؤۡثِرُوۡنَ عَلٰٓى اَنۡفُسِهِمۡ وَلَوۡ كَانَ بِهِمۡ خَصَاصَةٌ ؕ وَمَنۡ يُّوۡقَ شُحَّ نَفۡسِهٖ فَاُولٰٓٮِٕكَ هُمُ الۡمُفۡلِحُوۡنَۚ
— Transliteration
Wallatheena tabawwaoo addarawal-eemana min qablihim yuhibboona man hajarailayhim wala yajidoona fee sudoorihim hajatanmimma ootoo wayu/thiroona AAala anfusihim walaw kanabihim khasasatun waman yooqa shuhha nafsihi faola-ikahumu almuflihoon

(یہ مال اُن انصار کے لئے بھی ہے) جنہوں نے اُن (مہاجرین) سے پہلے ہی شہرِ (مدینہ) اور ایمان کو گھر بنا لیا تھا۔ یہ لوگ اُن سے محبت کرتے ہیں جو اِن کی طرف ہجرت کر کے آئے ہیں۔ اور یہ اپنے سینوں میں اُس (مال) کی نسبت کوئی طلب (یا تنگی) نہیں پاتے جو اُن (مہاجرین) کو دیا جاتا ہے اور اپنی جانوں پر انہیں ترجیح دیتے ہیں اگرچہ خود اِنہیں شدید حاجت ہی ہو، اور جو شخص اپنے نفس کے بُخل سے بچا لیا گیا پس وہی لوگ ہی بامراد و کامیاب ہیںo

And [also for] those who were settled in al-Madinah and [adopted] the faith before them. They love those who emigrated to them and find not any want in their breasts of what the emigrants were given but give [them] preference over themselves, even though they are in privation. And whoever is protected from the stinginess of his soul - it is those who will be the successful.

يٰۤاَيُّهَا الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡۤا اِذَا جَآءَكُمُ الۡمُؤۡمِنٰتُ مُهٰجِرٰتٍ فَامۡتَحِنُوۡهُنَّؕ اللّٰهُ اَعۡلَمُ بِاِيۡمَانِهِنَّۚ فَاِنۡ عَلِمۡتُمُوۡهُنَّ مُؤۡمِنٰتٍ فَلَا تَرۡجِعُوۡهُنَّ اِلَى الۡكُفَّارِؕ لَا هُنَّ حِلٌّ لَّهُمۡ وَلَا هُمۡ يَحِلُّوۡنَ لَهُنَّۚ وَاٰتُوۡهُمۡ مَّاۤ اَنۡفَقُوۡاؕ وَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيۡكُمۡ اَنۡ تَنۡكِحُوۡهُنَّ اِذَاۤ اٰتَيۡتُمُوۡهُنَّ اُجُوۡرَهُنَّؕ وَلَا تُمۡسِكُوۡا بِعِصَمِ الۡكَوَافِرِ وَسۡـَٔـلُوۡا مَاۤ اَنۡفَقۡتُمۡ وَلۡيَسۡـَٔـلُوۡا مَاۤ اَنۡفَقُوۡاؕ ذٰلِكُمۡ حُكۡمُ اللّٰهِؕ يَحۡكُمُ بَيۡنَكُمۡؕ وَاللّٰهُ عَلِيۡمٌ حَكِيۡمٌ

Ya ayyuha allatheena amanooitha jaakumu almu/minatu muhajiratinfamtahinoohunna Allahu aAAlamu bi-eemanihinnafa-in AAalimtumoohunna mu/minatin falatarjiAAoohunna ila alkuffari la hunna hillunlahum wala hum yahilloona lahunna waatoohumma anfaqoo wala junaha AAalaykum an tankihoohunnaitha ataytumoohunna ojoorahunna walatumsikoo biAAisami alkawafiri was-aloo maanfaqtum walyas-aloo ma anfaqoo thalikum hukmuAllahi yahkumu baynakum wallahuAAaleemun hakeem

اے ایمان والو! جب تمہارے پاس مومن عورتیں ہجرت کر کے آئیں تو انہیں اچھی طرح جانچ لیا کرو، اللہ اُن کے ایمان (کی حقیقت) سے خوب آگاہ ہے، پھر اگر تمہیں اُن کے مومن ہونے کا یقین ہو جائے تو انہیں کافروں کی طرف واپس نہ بھیجو، نہ یہ (مومنات) اُن (کافروں) کے لئے حلال ہیں اور نہ وہ (کفّار) اِن (مومن عورتوں) کے لئے حلال ہیں، اور اُن (کافروں) نے جو (مال بصورتِ مَہر اِن پر) خرچ کیا ہو وہ اُن کو ادا کر دو، اور تم پر اس (بات) میں کوئی گناہ نہیں کہ تم اِن سے نکاح کر لو جبکہ تم اُن (عورتوں) کا مَہر انہیں ادا کر دو، اور (اے مسلمانو!) تم بھی کافر عورتوں کو (اپنے) عقدِ نکاح میں نہ روکے رکھو اور تم (کفّار سے) وہ (مال) طلب کر لو جو تم نے (اُن عورتوں پر بصورتِ مَہر) خرچ کیا تھا اور وہ (کفّار تم سے) وہ (مال) مانگ لیں جو انہوں نے (اِن عورتوں پر بصورتِ مَہر) خرچ کیا تھا، یہی اللہ کا حکم ہے، اور وہ تمہارے درمیان فیصلہ فرما رہا ہے، اور اللہ خوب جاننے والا بڑی حکمت والا ہےo
— English
O you who have believed, when the believing women come to you as emigrants, examine them. Allah is most knowing as to their faith. And if you know them to be believers, then do not return them to the disbelievers; they are not lawful [wives] for them, nor are they lawful [husbands] for them. But give the disbelievers what they have spent. And there is no blame upon you if you marry them when you have given them their due compensation. And hold not to marriage bonds with disbelieving women, but ask for what you have spent and let them ask for what they have spent. That is the judgement of Allah; He judges between you. And Allah is Knowing and Wise.
