اَلۡحَجُّ اَشۡهُرٌ مَّعۡلُوۡمٰتٌ‌ۚ فَمَنۡ فَرَضَ فِيۡهِنَّ الۡحَجَّ فَلَا رَفَثَ وَلَا فُسُوۡقَۙ وَلَا جِدَالَ فِىۡ الۡحَجِّؕ وَمَا تَفۡعَلُوۡا مِنۡ خَيۡرٍ يَّعۡلَمۡهُ اللّٰهُ‌ؕؔ وَتَزَوَّدُوۡا فَاِنَّ خَيۡرَ الزَّادِ التَّقۡوٰى وَاتَّقُوۡنِ يٰٓاُولِىۡ الۡاَلۡبَابِ‏ 
— Transliteration
Alhajju ashhurun maAAloomatunfaman farada feehinna alhajja fala rafathawala fusooqa wala jidala fee alhajjiwama tafAAaloo min khayrin yaAAlamhu Allahuwatazawwadoo fa-inna khayra azzadi attaqwawattaqooni ya olee al-albab

Urdu —
حج کے چند مہینے معیّن ہیں (یعنی شوّال، ذوالقعدہ اور عشرہء ذی الحجہ)، تو جو شخص ان (مہینوں) میں نیت کر کے (اپنے اوپر) حج لازم کرلے تو حج کے دنوں میں نہ عورتوں سے اختلاط کرے اور نہ کوئی (اور) گناہ اور نہ ہی کسی سے جھگڑا کرے، اور تم جو بھلائی بھی کرو اﷲ اسے خوب جانتا ہے، اور (آخرت کے) سفر کا سامان کرلو، بیشک سب سے بہترزادِ راہ تقویٰ ہے، اور اے عقل والو! میرا تقویٰ اختیار کرو
— English
Hajj is [during] well-known months, so whoever has made Hajj obligatory upon himself therein [by entering the state of ihram], there is [to be for him] no sexual relations and no disobedience and no disputing during Hajj. And whatever good you do - Allah knows it. And take provisions, but indeed, the best provision is fear of Allah. And fear Me, O you of understanding.

وَدَخَلَ الۡمَدِيۡنَةَ عَلٰى حِيۡنِ غَفۡلَةٍ مِّنۡ اَهۡلِهَا فَوَجَدَ فِيۡهَا رَجُلَيۡنِ يَقۡتَتِلٰنِ هٰذَا مِنۡ شِيۡعَتِهٖ وَهٰذَا مِنۡ عَدُوِّهٖ‌ۚ فَاسۡتَغَاثَهُ الَّذِىۡ مِنۡ شِيۡعَتِهٖ عَلَى الَّذِىۡ مِنۡ عَدُوِّهٖۙ فَوَكَزَهٗ مُوۡسَىٰ فَقَضٰى عَلَيۡهِ‌ قَالَ هٰذَا مِنۡ عَمَلِ الشَّيۡطٰنِ‌ؕ اِنَّهٗ عَدُوٌّ مُّضِلٌّ مُّبِيۡنٌ‏ 
— Transliteration
Wadakhala almadeenata AAala heenighaflatin min ahliha fawajada feeha rajulayniyaqtatilani hatha min sheeAAatihi wahathamin AAaduwwihi fastaghathahu allathee minsheeAAatihi AAala allathee min AAaduwwihifawakazahu moosa faqada AAalayhi qala hathamin AAamali ashshaytani innahu AAaduwwun mudillunmubeen

Urdu —
اور موسٰی (علیہ السلام) شہرِ (مصر) میں داخل ہوئے اس حال میں کہ شہر کے باشندے (نیند میں) غافل پڑے تھے، تو انہوں نے اس میں دو مَردوں کو باہم لڑتے ہوئے پایا یہ (ایک) تو ان کے (اپنے) گروہ (بنی اسرائیل) میں سے تھا اور یہ (دوسرا) ان کے دشمنوں (قومِ فرعون) میں سے تھا، پس اس شخص نے جو انہی کے گروہ میں سے تھا آپ سے اس شخص کے خلاف مدد طلب کی جو آپ کے دشمنوں میں سے تھا پس موسٰی (علیہ السلام) نے اسے مکّا مارا تو اس کا کام تمام کردیا، (پھر) فرمانے لگے: یہ شیطان کا کام ہے (جو مجھ سے سرزَد ہوا ہے)، بیشک وہ صریح بہکانے والا دشمن ہے
— English
And he entered the city at a time of inattention by its people and found therein two men fighting: one from his faction and one from among his enemy. And the one from his faction called for help to him against the one from his enemy, so Moses struck him and [unintentionally] killed him. [Moses] said, "This is from the work of Satan. Indeed, he is a manifest, misleading enemy."
