اَوۡ كَصَيِّبٍ مِّنَ السَّمَآءِ فِيۡهِ ظُلُمٰتٌ وَّرَعۡدٌ وَّبَرۡقٌ‌ ۚ يَجۡعَلُوۡنَ اَصَابِعَهُمۡ فِىۡٓ اٰذَانِهِمۡ مِّنَ الصَّوَاعِقِ حَذَرَ الۡمَوۡتِ‌ؕ وَاللّٰهُ مُحِيۡطٌ‌ۢ بِالۡكٰفِرِيۡنَ‏ 
— Transliteration
Aw kasayyibin mina assama-ifeehi thulumatun waraAAdun wabarqunyajAAaloona asabiAAahum fee athanihim mina assawaAAiqihathara almawti wallahu muheetunbilkafireen

Urdu —
یا ان کی مثال اس بارش کی سی ہے جو آسمان سے برس رہی ہے جس میں اندھیریاں ہیں اور گرج اور چمک (بھی) ہے تو وہ کڑک کے باعث موت کے ڈر سے اپنے کانوں میں انگلیاں ٹھونس لیتے ہیں، اور اللہ کافروں کو گھیرے ہوئے ہے
— English
Or [it is] like a rainstorm from the sky within which is darkness, thunder and lightning. They put their fingers in their ears against the thunderclaps in dread of death. But Allah is encompassing of the disbelievers.

‌وَيُسَبِّحُ الرَّعۡدُ بِحَمۡدِهٖ وَالۡمَلٰۤـٮِٕكَةُ مِنۡ خِيۡفَتِهٖ‌ۚ وَيُرۡسِلُ الصَّوَاعِقَ فَيُصِيۡبُ بِهَا مَنۡ يَّشَآءُ وَهُمۡ يُجَادِلُوۡنَ فِىۡ اللّٰه‌ِۚ وَهُوَ شَدِيۡدُ الۡمِحَالِؕ‏ 
— Transliteration
Wayusabbihu arraAAdu bihamdihiwalmala-ikatu min kheefatihi wayursilu assawaAAiqafayuseebu biha man yashao wahum yujadiloonafee Allahi wahuwa shadeedu almihal

جھگڑ رہے ہوتے ہیں

اور وہ

(is) Mighty
سخت

(in) Strength
پکڑنے والا ہے/ گرفت کرنے والا ہے
Urdu —
(بجلیوں اور بادلوں کی) گرج (یا اس پر متعین فرشتہ) اور تمام فرشتے اس کے خوف سے اس کی حمد کے ساتھ تسبیح کرتے ہیں، اور وہ کڑکتی بجلیاں بھیجتا ہے پھر جس پر چاہتا ہے اسے گرا دیتا ہے، اور وہ (کفار قدرت کی ان نشانیوں کے باوجود) اﷲ کے بارے میں جھگڑا کرتے ہیں، اور وہ سخت تدبیر و گرفت والا ہے
— English
And the thunder exalts [Allah] with praise of Him - and the angels [as well] from fear of Him - and He sends thunderbolts and strikes therewith whom He wills while they dispute about Allah; and He is severe in assault.
