قَدۡ كَانَ لَـكُمۡ اٰيَةٌ فِىۡ فِئَتَيۡنِ الۡتَقَتَاؕ فِئَةٌ تُقَاتِلُ فِىۡ سَبِيۡلِ اللّٰهِ وَاُخۡرٰى كَافِرَةٌ يَّرَوۡنَهُمۡ مِّثۡلَيۡهِمۡ رَاۡىَ الۡعَيۡنِؕ وَاللّٰهُ يُؤَيِّدُ بِنَصۡرِهٖ مَنۡ يَّشَآءُؕ اِنَّ فِىۡ ذٰلِكَ لَعِبۡرَةً لِّاُولِىۡ الۡاَبۡصَارِ
Word By Word —
قَدۡ
qadSurelyتحقیق
كَانَ
kānait wasہے
لَـكُمۡ
lakumfor youتمہارے لیے
اٰيَةٌ
āyatuna signنشانی
فِىۡ
fīinمیں
فِئَتَيۡنِ
fi-atayni(the) two hostsدوگروہوں
الۡتَقَتَا ؕ
l-taqatāwhich met آپس میں لڑے۔ ایک دوسرے سے نبرد آزما ہوئے
فِئَةٌ
fi-atunone groupایک گروہ
تُقَاتِلُ
tuqātilufightingلڑ رہا تھا
فِىۡ
fīinمیں
سَبِيۡلِ
sabīli(the) wayراستے
اللّٰهِ
l-lahi(of) Allahاللہ کے
وَاُخۡرٰى
wa-ukh'rāand anotherاور دوسرا
كَافِرَةٌ
kāfiratundisbelieversکافر تھا
يَّرَوۡنَهُمۡ
yarawnahumThey were seeing themوہ دیکھ رہے تھے انکو
مِّثۡلَيۡهِمۡ
mith'layhimtwice of themدوگنا اپنے سے
رَاۡىَ
rayawith the sightدیکھنا
الۡعَيۡنِؕ
l-ʿayni(of) their eyesآنکھ کا
وَاللّٰهُ
wal-lahuAnd Allahاور اللہ
يُؤَيِّدُ
yu-ayyidusupportsتائید کرتا ہے
بِنَصۡرِهٖ
binaṣrihiwith His helpساتھ اپنی مدد کے
مَنۡ
manwhomجس کو
يَّشَآءُ ؕ
yashāuHe willsوہ چاہتا ہے
اِنَّ
innaIndeed,بیشک
فِىۡ
fīinمیں
ذٰ لِكَ
dhālikathatاس
لَعِبۡرَةً
laʿib'ratansurely (is) a lessonالبتہ عبرت ہے
لِّاُولِى
li-ulīfor the ownersاہل
الۡاَبۡصَارِ
l-abṣāri(of) visionبصیرت کے لیے
Qad kana lakum ayatun feefi-atayni iltaqata fi-atun tuqatilu fee sabeeli Allahiwaokhra kafiratun yarawnahum mithlayhim ra/yaalAAayni wallahu yu-ayyidu binasrihi manyashao inna fee thalika laAAibratan li-olee al-absar
